We are planning on booking first thing Tuesday morning!!!!

My question is..........do you have to put the $200 down immediantely on a credit card or do you get the form in the mail and just send in a check like you usually do????

If it has to come out immediantly I've got to do some quick ebaying....LOL!

You usually have a certain amount of time....1 or 2 weeks! I don't know how it works if you deal with Disney CRO but with AAA or a TA like DU we had atleast a week for the $200 deposit.

When I called Disney CRO to make my reservation this morning, I was asked if I wanted to pay my deposit right away, or if I wanted to wait and put it down within a few weeks. I did put my deposit down right away, so I didn't really pay attention to the specifics about how it would work if I waited to put down the deposit.

I had to put down a $200 deposit and it had to be with my Disney Visa, people using that part of the special have to pay the deposit before it opens up to the public according to the CM I dealt with

Lizzybee - Did the free dining twist your arm on whether to go back this summer? I remember you were deciding whether or not to go. THis sure does make it easier to decide doesn't it.

I booked using my Disney Visa and was told I had to put $200 down today. I was also told there was a very limited number of rooms for this free dining package, so I decided not to argue and just pay the money upfront. Booked for Sept 4-10 and the remainder is due July 21.

You know me so well LOL Yeah this was the final straw that got me to book a trip. Maybe that's the marketing plan in this deal: To get those of us who are teetering on the fence to make the leap!

FWIW, ALL codes right now are only Visa codes, according to my DTA -- even the one posted on the thread where the person said they booked *without* a Visa card (I think it was YWM but I can't recall) - accordingto my DTA, that's a Visa card code, too.

I had to book with my Disney Visa and was asked for a $200 deposit. Anyone that wants the deal and got it in error better correct it because after the fourth I think the rooms will be gone quick!

I just got logged on and saw there were messages about free dining and how people are getting them. How are they doing that. We booked through a travel agent for Nov. and I paid with a Visa and did not get anything. Anyway how can I correct that? :confused3 or is that just the way it is? We have the tickets and lodging and meal plan all booked and our flights.

You didn't get it before because the promo just started today.

To correct it you just call your travel agent and tell them you would like to apply the code to your package to get the free dining.

I booked my vacation for Aug 9 thru 19 with AAA. Do you think the free dining code can be used if your vacation starts before the effective date but you are there when the plan goes into effect? I am calling first thing Monday.

No .

But you can divide the reservation. Do the AAA discount for the dates before the deal and then free dinning for the rest. Two reservations.

This isn't good in November, so unless eeyoresfarmfriend is changing her plans, she can't add the free dining.
