i was wondering if there is a number of days restriction on how long to get dining plan. i want it for 21 days am i allowed?

p.s. if i go on july 2007 and i am a passholder can i get free dining and i will book 180 days in advance.(by the way i will but a one day theme park ticket to be part of the dining plan.)

First of all, you can't just 'get' free dining...Disney has to offer it, and in the past two years that they have offered it, its part of a package where you must buy at least a one-day ticket and pay full rack rate for a room, and the maximum number of days in any package is 10.

In addition, the free dining was offered from mid August through September, prime time for hurricanes and a time when attendance at the park is generally lower. It may never be offered in July when attendance is higher.

No one can answer your questions with any certainty, as its unknown whether Disney will offer free dining again.

Im not sure but i was advised by Disney in the US that the maximum i could book was 10 days - however disney UK advised me i could book 21? a bit confusing - prehaps its because we tend to book longer holidays in the UK??

Also keep in mind that the offer to UK folks for free dining during the heart of hurricane season 2007 requires not only that the Dining Plan be purchased for the entire duration of the reservation, but that admission be purchased, as part of the package, for the entire duration of the reservation (which is a change over the rules applied to US folks during the free dining promotion in 2006, where only one day's worth of admission purchase was required).

I wonder how they will handle this if/when free dining is offered to us.

2007 packages can be booked for 14 nights, but we can only buy a 10 day MYW park pass. I wonder if they will require us to purchase a 10 MYW pass in order to book free dining.

That wasn't a problem as I was going to buy a ticket for the entire holiday anyway.
