Hearing all the phone wait times makes me glad that I booked online!! The whole process took about 4 minutes. :goodvibes
I'm curious why people choose to call vs book online? (this is a real question- I'm really wondering....)

We had already booked bc we were going for those dates, to that resort, regardless of FD! So, we couldn't add FD to an existing reservation online, I had to call!!

I wish my kids were still under 3...I miss that toddler stage! My kids are both taller than I am now. :rotfl::rotfl: Hope to see you there, and have a great trip!
My DS will turn 3 on 10/13 and DD will turn 1 on 10/14...(and my bday is 10/5) so this is the last time we don't have to pay for either kid...it really does save a lot going when they are under 3. My 2.5 year old is CRAZY though - total daredevil little boy. Gives me a heart attack daily.

Same exact dates here for pop. Except I had not wait time. I booked the Disney visa promo Satruday.

We'll be there for most of that time (9/25-10/4) too - see ya there! :dance3:

Probably answered already by someone - we had to call because we already had ressies and needed to change for free dining - can't do that online. :)

TA added the free dining to our CSR reservations! Sept 14th - 21st.

2 adults, 1 junior, 1 kid - saved us $965.xx! :goodvibes

Now to decide about MNSSHP for the 14th or 18th!

I still can't get through to my TA to add the free dining onto our existing package. Next time, I'm booking directly through Disney!

I couldn't get FD at WL. But I had a villa reserved anyway, so I used the 40% off room discount instead. I had to switch from a two BD villa to a 1 BD plus studio (and could only request connecting), but I saved $1600 in making that switch. A gamble that we might not be connected. but that's a lot of $$$.

We really try to eat only one meal a day at the parks and otherwise eat at the villa. My kids are little (7, 5,and 3). Eating at the villa just makes more sense but for a character meal here or there (oh, and one Le Cellier ressie!).

There are 4 adults and three kids in my group, so we are more limited in room choices.

I could have done SS or OKW, but we've stayed at SS before (our one other trip).

Called at 9am Orlando time, waited 5 mins for CM to answer and took maybe 5 mins to get FD added to our existing POP ressie!

We already had the 20% pin so lost that discount. Upgraded from QS to regular TS. So its costing us $300 for TS dining for 4 adults for 8 days. Not as good as prior years but still saves us about $1000!

That is what we did. It cost us about $220 to upgrade to FD for 7 nights at Pop Century. Not as good as last year, but it was definately worth the $220 to upgrade. We will probably just pass on the MNSSHP this year.

Just playing with resorts, and for our week 9/26-10/2 CSR is not available. Plenty availability at POP (standard and preferred view)

OMG! I couldn't leave well enough alone...had to go comparing prices AGAIN after finding out you CAN add dining to the summer 40% off deal at deluxes. Well, I changed my resort and my ressie from FD to the 40% discount. It saved us a whopping $800.00! I couldn't pass that up! Beach Club it is. I am hoping I won't regret the change, but I couldn't pass up the savings either
:goodvibes

Our TA added the FD promo to our reservation this morning. We've got 14 nights at POFQ with 10 day PH for 4 adults for $4,125.88. We had already booked it with the DP added, which was going to cost us $6,477.32. This is a graduation trip for our DS and FD is saving us $2,351.44! I'm sooooo happy!! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Using an agent and changed a couple things already. I wonder if she would climb a tree if I went three weeks earlier or do you think they will extend it to the end of Oct later?

I wonder if there is a big convention at CSR that week. They have availability for the previous week.

There is also availability for all of the other moderates for your week.

Same thing happened to me. Got free dining in 5 minutes! Only problem is that WL has no standard rooms blocked for the sale. Had to upgrade to the Woods view which eroded 1/3 the value of the sale. Still psyched though!!

Being the cheapest of the deluxe resorts those Standard View rooms disappear quickly, but it appears they never had any for the first two weeks. They are available from the 3rd week on.

Interesting that AKL still has availability for all weeks for the Standard View room.

I'm surprised. In the past, we've had to fight tooth and nail to get POP for FD. Keeping my fingers crossed for your CSR opening - Good Luck!
