Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Advice please? I have September already booked for my husband, myself, and my 4yo daughter. Hubby has never been to Disney. I have and my daughter is an ap holder because she has also gone without me with my mom and sister. Anyhow, *considering* changing to week of 11/14 to be able to see Christmas decorations instead of Halloween. We were there two Septembers ago and the weather was great, a bit warm, but great. I have read that Nov should be better weather but my cousin was there last Nov and had lots of thunderstorms during their week. Anyone have advice of Sept vs Nov? Both weeks are ranked about the same as far as crowd level and the price is the exact same. Thanks!

Unfortunately, nobody can predict what mother nature is going to do, I have been September, October and November a few times each. September 2011, was great. 2012, rained a few times per day..only 30 minutes to an hour. I heard last year was terrible. October 2008, rained 3 or the 7 days I was there. October 2010, we didnt get one drop of rain in the 12 days we were there. November 2009, it was chilly in the morning and at night. Being from Massachusetts, I thought it was ok when we got there, even went swimming (we were the only ones in the pool!), but after a few days of warm weather during the day, you could definitely notice the cold at night and early morning. We wore pants and jackets to the parks at night in November. Was it just that year? I have no idea, but if I could pick my own dates without having to consider school and other family members, I would choose October...which is probably why Sept. and Nov are less crowded :)

I agree. People need to take your post as an educated guess or dismiss it if they dont believe you.

To all, please do not call people liars and make them feel like they are being attacked when they are trying to help. If you dont believe something you see, ignore it and move on.

Agreed! Let's be kind, not belittling. We are all trying to figure this out together. Thanks Steve!

We are inching close to the 250 page mark! If anyone starts a new thread (part 2) for this like last year, please let us know, or i'll be so lost lol.
I am hoping to start a thread 2 and will post the link. I will likely do it layer tonight. Tomorrow i am in a conference from 8 to 5. Another reason i hope GP goes live tomorrow so i can book online and not have to depend on DW.

There's nothing wrong with questioning things. That's kind of how you determine legitimacy. But there is certainly a nice way to do it, and a rude way.

Does anyone know what it cost to add the deluxe plan?

I'll assume you're talking about upgrading from the free dining plan. And the answer is that it's the difference between whichever plan you're getting for free (Value resorts get Quick Service Dining Plan, all others get the Regular Dining Plan) and the cost of the upgraded. So Deluxe is normally $109.53, which means, depending on which hotel you're staying in:
Value: $67.53 per adult per night
All other hotels: $49.49 per adult per night

Kid costs are different, but you can google "disney dining plan cost" and do the math pretty easily.

Oh man the suspense is crazy!!! If it goes GP first, then will the FD offer be available at midnight or 6am online? If it goes DV, then it's 7am by phone only correct?

Pretty cool to see Black lurking! Hi Black!
