Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

I have a Disney Visa and plan on calling early on Monday if the rumor holds true. Being on the west coast, probably won't get up at 4am, but will shoot for 5am/8 am EST. From your experiences in the past, what are the chances of the Pop selling out?

Since we have already committed to going and our October dates seem to fall in the free dining dates, I also have a question about the new reservation. We have a standard rack rate room already reserved and we booked it before the ticket prices went up. Will they honor that ticket price?

BTW - I am so excited about this trip and between choosing the best resort, restaurants. learning the transportation etc. I feel like I'm studying to pass the bar exam! Not complaining, I love the planning but I'm logging a lot of planning hours

Yep. You have to have the card in hand to be able to book with the Disney Visa offer.

Too late. You won't need it for Pop or All Star Sports/Music, if that's where you want to stay.

Cool, here's hoping there are ample pop century rooms for the general public.

My sister was offering to book for us using her card and I could just pay her back, but I'd rather use my own card and pay at my own rate.

Can people take the "roll call" posts to a different thread, please? I know we're all excited but they're not contributing anything useful to the FD discussion and it's just inflating the page count like crazy and making it harder to find useful info.

This is where the "and a whole lot more" fits in.

Last year there were 2 threads and the 'whole lot more' was made to be able to talk about anything, not just FD discussion. The regular thread was for serious FD discussion.

Dates 10/17-10/26. Currently booked at POR but may switch to LM if it's worth it price wise.

We've never stayed at either, but I fell in love with CBR when we got off at the wrong bus stop and had to walk the grounds to find Shutters.

So you think standard rooms will be hard to come by for FD by time the GP offer comes out? I'm booked at Pop right now but if/when FD comes out, I want to upgrade to CBR. I'm fine with a water view or something of the sort but a preferred room is almost $500 more than a standard there! I definitely plan on booking as soon as the offer comes out for GP

Smitch mentioned how the south american offers may not be available for DVC FD first. If that were true it could be DVC tomorrow and GP Monday. Not 100% either way but people are going to call and find out.

We are already booked at POR for 10/7-10/12 and our dates aren't really flexible since it's my sister's wedding at Disney that we're going for. So if the rumors prove true, we're out of luck. I have a few newbie questions though. Do people ever receive pins after they have booked? Is there a chance they will offer other fall discounts as well, like a room discount? I realize the answer to both those questions is probably no, but I'm looking for a little shred of hope to cling to!
