Roll Call:

November 14-21st (hoping to get a UOC again for movies) if not...then POP or Caribbean Beach, however I'm feeling at the time I guess :teeth:

Yes you're reading it correctly (although it is still a rumor). Based on what I've read POR is the most popular but didn't CBR go through some renovations or something?
CBR has just had new room renos . . . and it looks great. Darker wood & colours but still new & clean. Check out the CBR thread on the boards for pics and updates.

Roll call
Me, DH, DD3, AND DS almost 2
Nov 10 -17 at POP or considering upgrade to a moderate with FD

I have been told both a re good resorts to go to. We originally booked at CBR, but then at my DD's dance class the one mom came back and said there were snakes all over the place (take that for what it is worth), which freaked me out beyond belief. I checked the next day and PORGV was open so I booked that. We only went with CBR in the first place because of availability and the DW and DDs wanted the beach.
I was booked for CBR this past February but had an early am international flight out of Orlando so realized I would have to get to the distant bus pickup at approx 3 am. In the dark. And CBR is really spread out and I didn't know where my standard room would be located. I could have tried to arrange for a pickup golf cart but didn't have much confidence in it because it was the middle of the night. Since I knew I would worry about it my whole trip, I switched to AS Music. Yes, there have been a few snake issues at CBR. It has a lot of water and mature growth vegetation so this is to be expected. It is central Florida. However, I just decided I didn't want to deal with anything at 3 am. I blame my crappy international Air Canada flight. Never CBR. Its a beautiful resort.

I'll remember that! I was at ASMovies last year, and we got stuck in a lot of rain. And the buses were always full, after going to two resorts first. So I learned my lesson not to stay there, because even at a lower crowd time it was still pretty bad.

We stayed at Movies in July one year and I didn't have any complaints for the buses. I would prefer that one and it would be nice if it was included just because my kids loved the Toy Story section.

Keep in mind...this is STILL RUMOR!!!
Yes, but the difference this year, is that we know where it is coming from, why the rumor would be this way, etc. There is no "Black" scapegoat for folks to get mad at!! This is all good, exciting, and sounds like much more pleasant and lack of testiness!!! (so far)

You're all too fast for me! That is how my friend translated it as well which means POR could be out for December. I think we will stick with ASMu or POP which is fine by me! We are pretty open-minded as to which resort! We will be happy with a Disney hotel and Free Dining! :goodvibes

Roll Call...
10/26 - 11/1 (or abouts there)
Hoping for POFQ but may have to check the reno'd CBR

If Movies is excluded, I'm glad we switched hotels then. We were originally booked for AS Movies (loved it in 2013), but decided to make the switch to AS Sports since movies seems to be excluded from discounts lately. I'm now trying to come up with a plan B and C in case I can't get FD at AS sports.

If we move up to a moderate, we can still get the QSDP free, right? I know the TSDP is a better deal, but we still might go with QS (we like the freedom it brings rather than planning around dinner reservations).

I think if that was the case, you might be better off taking a room only discount and paying for your quick service meals or the quick service dining plan and forgo the FD promo?

Sorry if this has been covered; I'm at work and I'm only able to pick up on bits of pieces of information between jobs:

1) "Booking on 4/27" obviously is referring to Visa cardholders? The general public obviously has to wait a bit longer, I assume?

2) I assume the policy of "As long as your check-in date falls within the dates free dining is offered, your entire trip is covered" still holds true, right? Check in for us would be 11/14, but we'd be leaving on 11/21, two days after the free dining offer has ended.

Roll call:
We're at AoA Cars Sep. 11-19 with a room discount BB, but free dining would be a much better deal, even upgrading from QS to TS. I'm so anxious to have the waiting over!

Roll call: booked AOA Nemo suite from November 19-29. Would be awesome if we got free dining for thanksgiving if the rumor dates are correct. If not will move dates and hope for a different promo later.

One other part of the blog translation that I found interesting was that it said there is no official word but some travel agencies have already received promotion codes for free dining during Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec 2015. That sounds promising!

Moderates get table service plan, not the QSDP, there isn't a choice. Unless it has changed and I missed the change.

This is correct but I understand that you can also use Table Service for Quick Service meals so there's an option to book a Table Service or 2 and then use the rest of the TS credits at QS locations.
