Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Honestly, I'm glad I don't have to wait for the free dining this year! I do hope for those who count on it that they continue to offer it. Unfortunately inflation and wage increases don't usually line up!

Very true! As long as I have my down payment in I'm safe. I'm just worried about having to type 500 different GC codes in all at once instead of doing a couple a day and getting it done early. I just wish they'd release FD early and save everyone. Heyyy it's nice to dream isn't it lol

Alright thank you! Guess I won't buy a whole lot for now cause I can't imagine what Id do with them if we get FD. We could use some in the parks but I couldn't see us needing more than a couple hundred dollars for the park and we'd get back a couple thousand with FD.

Where are you getting all of these gift cards??

It's crazy how random the PIN codes are! I haven't gotten one on forever but if I remember correctly the ones I did get weren't any different than the GP discounts, except maybe (again if I am remembering right) it included more hotels or dates?? Was your recent PIN the same as the summer discounts?

Ammag?? Was yours the same?
Mine was the same but expanded dates and free park hoppers which I don't believe is part of the summer discounts. I've been randomly calling about PINs hoping to get one for any time but summer! 8-)

Mine was the room discount plus free park hoppers if more than five park tickets booked

Yeah, we've been during that week, it was totally manageable. The last time we left early to head home because that friday before the race was more crowded than I've ever seen it...but, we always go for about 8 days too, then we aren't rushing and you still are able to see everything twice :) PS: We totally LOVE POP!

Good to know! I was a little worried since our last two trips had mostly 1-3 crowd days and the one 7 day we had was pretty rough we are not crowd people if we can help it. Gives me anxiety! But this worked out best October is a busy month with obligations we cannot get out of and September is too hot for us. Our focus is on the hallowene party we've wanted to go since our first trip in 2012 and we won't be going in the fall again. Not in the next 5 years or more.

I was hoping the November park hours were coming out April 1st but I just read it will be mid April. I am dying to get this set up! Our ADR date is May 3rd so I feel like I want to be ready to go with plan a (free dining upgrade) and then if no free dining then plan B we will cancel most of them. I love planning but even this is making me a bit stressed doing so much so early...I can imagine people who hate planning hate the process

We have gone in September in the past and it was VERY HOT (and we're from Houston). We're doing October 17-26 this year, which will hopefully be cooler. I've been noticing a lot of people talking about high crowds during that time. Many of the trip planning sites I've read list the month of October as a slow time to go with much lower crowds. Is this not true? Also, how is November crowd wise? (not Thanksgiving week).

I agree. I think some people may have to cancel if it is not offered. I have read quite a few posts encouraging people to hold off on booking until the offer comes out. I do believe this is why...but it's hard to tell for certain. I know my daughter and her family are waiting for the offer to book. They really can't afford to go this year unless they have free dining.
We are also waiting.... if there is no free dining we will be visiting another attraction in orlando........ no disney....

From what I've read and my experience: October used to be prime time to go, but with more schools doing Fall Breaks, the crowds have picked up. November is slow too, for the most part. I'm spoiled by early 2000s Disneyworld crowds, so everything seems crowded to me. We typically were October people, then switched to September for one trip..never again...it was TOO hot. My son has a lot of sensitivity to the heat and it was too much. We're trying November again this year (did it once and it was really nice, and I loved being able to wear jeans some days!).

I second your comment about being spoiled by 2000s crowd levels and nothing seeming like 'low' crowds these days. We usually go the last week of January but it was so crowded in 2013. This year we are trying the week before Thanksgiving....fingers crossed it is actually low crowds.

Thanks for the info! I'd love the room discount and free park hopper but I'm not holding my breath for a PIN code...it's been ages

Five park days, or tickets for more than five people?
It said when you upgrade your package to include a minimum 5 day magic your way theme park ticket, you get the park hopper option added to your ticket for free. So sad that we cat take advantage of it!

I work for target and with my employee discount and the red card Id save over $1300 just through target, not including a Disney discount. And target sells disney gcs. Our trip is over $9000 so it'd be around 200 gcs. I was definitely exaggerating a bit lol

I'd gladly accept gift cards lol but a lot of people purchase gift cards from target or other stores with their store credit cards because you get a discount. At target its only 5% off but any little bit helps!

I'm doing target as well. I'm lucky, I work for the company so it's an additional 10% off added to the 5% for red card

My mom just got a summer pin code for stays 6/1/15-8/27/15. Up to 30% off room rates with free park hopper option. They are going with us in mid October so they won't be using it. She hasn't been to Disney since 2011, none of us have anything booked, all of us just ordered a disney trip planning DVD, and I believe she was the only one who just signed her email up for a new Disney account. I think my husband and I signed up last year when we went on our trip. This may have been why she got a pin???

Has anyone gotten a pin for summer and then gotten another for fall?

I don't get PINs, but my friend has gotten one everytime they have been offered in the past year--suspect he will get fall one as well.
