Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Probably because they cost the same as a deluxe resort, and yet even the moderate resorts get the regular dining plan. I've always thought that was ridiculous.
AoA is a *value* resort by Disney standards. Values are offered quick service dining plan. I agree the price is crazy for a *value*, but they are suites not rooms, so that is part of it. And being they sleep more people offering regular dining plan would cost Disney more money. All about the bottom line. Not saying it is right just saying it is logical in a business standpoint. Pretty sure no other suites offer FD at all, but I could be wrong on that.

Because you're getting a suite with occupancy for 6 adults, two bathrooms and a kitchenette, as opposed to a standard room that sleeps 4 with one bathroom... You pay to have 6 people stay at a deluxe, or even a mod for that matter, then ask yourself again why they get the regular dining plan and the AoA suites only get QS lol...

We're in the same boat. With mine and my husband's jobs our dates are fixed. We're going Oct 17-26, fingers toes, and eyes crossed.

Hoping we all get lucky for free dining...very nervous about those blackout dates though! :(

Don't know if this will help you or not but doctor disney has on his site that there is a marathon Oct4-6. I think often times disney reduces or blacks out promotions during special events because of higher bookings during those events. I hope that's not true because we have dates in Oct too that we can't be flexible with.

Here's his link to special events on his page.

Oh no...that certainly isn't a good sign at all....is Doctor Disney usually pretty accurate? If worst comes to worst, we'll arrive the day before he marathon and I'll just rebook the flight and take a change fee hit. I guess all we can do...is wait here and see!

That was from 2013. There is no marathon at that time this year.

He was accurate last year with the blackout dates, but that was once the promotion was released. At this point I think we're all just guessing. We have no idea what could happen between now and then. If there is an economic downturn that causes people not to travel as much then Disney might have better offers. I know there has been a lot of talk about a worsening economy here in the Houston area where I live due to the huge drop in gas prices (since our economy revolves a lot around the oil and gas industry). Even things like that can have an impact.

Hi!
I'm joining the wait for free dining! 2013 we went october 1st checked in for the 1st time and got free dining at POR! It was amazing time and a huge savings! Hoping for free dining again! My kids have fall break Oct 11-18 so I'm pretty sure those dates will be blacked out... So I'm not set on anyone date... I'll book my dates to get free dining!!! Girls will have to miss school for as week!

I guess what my question is... Has anyone seen any leaked reports when offers might come out? I see current deals expire march 28th... Will the new specials include September dates do you think??? I hate waiting till june\july to book dates and airfare:(

Last year they released the dates for Fall FD in late April I believe.

Usually September deals do not get released until May. The March promotion will likely be for summer dates. October through December usually come out closer to July, but last year they released all FD dates at once in May, so no way to really tell what they will do. I have not seen any rumors/leaks yet, but it is pretty early for that.

Hey! Don't take their side. We're in this together.

No, bouncebacks cover more dates for the Aug/Sept timeframe.

Shoot I was told that general public offers usually do follow the bounceback dates and that got my hopes up! I'm looking at an arrival date of Sept. 29 or 30 and hoping it's included based on the bouceback ending Oct. 2.

The entire month of September was included last year, so as long as your arrival date falls within the promotion period you should be good. September is usually pretty safe for free dining.
