Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

If you were signed in and got instantly approved through the Disney World link you can still book on the web. When you check out it asks if you want to use your instant credit chase account. It doesn't show you the account number but lets you make your deposit/payment. I don't know if a cast member can do the same thing...

We actually called 1-877-257-9474 to apply for the card and were approved while on the phone. It's quite possible that it could work like that if applying via the web, interesting thought...

So if I have a Disney Visa Debit and I call on April 27, just in case, what time should I be calling? 5 am? Midnight?

I'm very anxious to hear of the rumors! I've never attempted this, so I may try, depending on if the dates align. Unfortunately I can't quite adjust my days. But it's not the end-all for me if I can't get it. My other question though, since I'm a newbie, and I know that for free dining, I'll either have to pay the upgrade fee from a value resort, or adjust to a moderate, will the CM help with the costs so that I can choose? Or am I going to have to guess? Moreso, will the CM take the time with me to figure out the best option? I know FD is hectic, so I'm wondering if they have to move fast or they can breathe with me while I figure it out.
When I was debating switching resorts today she asked me to give her a moment while she compared things for me. It may just depend on who you get.

Good luck to your son. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter may have to have the food challenge done as well. We go for a consult next month. She has what is called FPIES, which is a non-IgE food allergy where she can't eat any dairy - milk, cheese etc. Hoping she has outgrown this by our Sept. Disney trip.

Hoping for free dining for September. Fingers crossed !
I have a non Ige allergy to pineapple, with minor allergies to kiwi and avocado. It started 3 years ago out of the blue, about 4 months after I had my daughter. No anaphylaxis, just excruciating abdominal pain, vomiting, etc for 6 hours if I have any pineapple. I miss you dole whips. I hope everyone has fun on their trips! Thank goodness DW is so allergen conscientious.

HA! It says this on the Disney Visa page "When instantly approved, Guests can use their new Disney Visa® Card immediately to book Disney vacation packages and purchase Disney Theme Park tickets online."

Keep in mind that the Disney Visa early period requires you to call in, unless I'm mistaken, which may require you to have the physical card.

Except you can't book a DV offer online. Lol

Way to go - good find! I normally don't read the small print....probably because I can't :rotfl: See, my good vibes I sent you earlier must have been lucky :)

It just depends when they load the deal onto the website. It's not always consistent. Sometimes it's later in the afternoon, which would mean calling will get you the deal sooner.

Early booking for Visa customers is only via phone.

Does the lead person on the reservation have to have the Disney visa, or anyone on the reservation?

I have a question about dining reservations. We are a party of two and have booked a resort. We will be meeting up with my daughter and her family of five for dinners but she hasn't booked yet (waiting for free dining). So.....can I make reservations on my 180 days for a party of seven?

Thanks, I'm going to try it. If I have to wait, then at least I tried.

I would think once you are approved online you can call and get your card number, expiration date, and security code to start using it. Or if you apply by phone they can give you that info right away.

Or did you mean you had to wait for something else- haha - I think I got lost in the conversation!!
