Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Could someone put a sticky at the beginning of this board with all the best rumors we know so far? This page is ballooning like crazy, mostly with repeated questions, or questions not getting answers because they get lost in the pages and its really hard to keep up with and dig through to find the info you want.

The park hopper rumor is not exciting to me. I will be taking a 3.5 year old and almost 2 year old at the time. I'd hate to have to buy something we would not use. But because I hate to waste things I know I'm would try to use them anyway without tiring out my kids.
Oh who knew a Disney trip could be so mentally exhausting before it even begins. I haven't done this much math in awhile! I love it! :cheer2:

I asked this some many pages back but I did not see a response.
I found some of the answers to my BB question, but the one I still can't find and won't know until I get there and ask but curious anyway cause all of you are so smart!! (Like that run on sentence?)

With Bounce Back offers.....Do you have to know who your party will be or can you just book the room with your name and give the guest names later? Or modify the guest names?
Anyone have experience with that?

I think you can book one BB room for each adult in your room. So you could book one in your name and one in your spouse's name (if you have one). The person whose name in on the BB ressie must use the reservation.

We loved having our PH with little kids. Went back to hotel after lunch for a nap (only adults rested) then headed back out to a new set of rides for the evening!

we did too. and they really came in handy when I had to change our park days around because of rain one day. Re did my FP+ the night before but did not have to worry about what park our ADRs were at because we could hop.

Can we have a sticky which is only updated when the free dining is released and no comments until then? This thread is going crazy. I bookmarked it 3 days ago and that was 85 pages ago!

Yup got that information already but was talking about the guest that share the room with me. What if I only want 1 room and list my husband as a guest but then he can't go so i get a couple friends to come with me instead. Will that mess up the BB offer if I'm changing names or adding a person?

Does anyone know how free dining works if you have an AP? Can you still get free dining? And what if only 1 of us in the room has an AP can the other 3 get free dining?

Ditto. We've always hopped, even when our kids were 3 yo and 5 months. But, we are kind of obsessed with Epcot (especially my oldest who is 6 now) so we end up there at least once a day!

That would be fine as long as you, the BB booker, are going.

Looks like I'll be needing FD info as well. Planning on going to South America this winter, but we may be able to squeeze in a week long trip to WDW on our way back up.

When FD dates are announced, correct me if I'm wrong but this is the link to where it will have up to the minute discounts, correct?

Question: if my boyfriend is on the booking, but the booking is under my account, can he call in to adjust the booking to get fd? Or can only I do that?

Every one in the room has to be on the same package and you have to have to buy at least 2 days of park tickets to get free dining. It would definitely be tricky to work out if only some of your group has an AP. It would be a little easier if everyone has an AP then you could buy the minimum number of tickets, not use them (use your AP instead) and apply the cost of the 2 day tickets to the AP

Believe me, when the DV (Disney Visa) promotion starts or the GP (General public) promotions starts, all you have to do is log onto the forums and it will be posted.

One of the last couple years DV holders did not get a couple days heads up. It went right to GP.
And then another time DV holders did get a couple days heads up but the perks page was not updated for a while after people started posting the boards. This will not be the only thread that starts talking about it. Resort threads and specific month threads chat about the promotions too.
When it all happens, you will have plenty of places announcing it over the course of the day.

With Disney Visa offers, I usually hear about them way before I get a notice in the mail, see it on the perk sites or get an email.
Most times my trip is already set.

I also find that when I log into these boards and watch the notices on the right side, sometimes I find out about them before the information from the board gets emailed to me, or I see one of the sites post it on FB.

But let me just say it again, Nothing is official, it's all rumors and it will be everywhere if you are connected with this board or the many other Disney FB and websites. A couple years ago someone was panicking because she didn't get all that she wanted the first couple days of the promotions but before she even made her final payment on her vacation, she had everything!!
