Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

It is for the "bounce back" offer. If you book another reservation, before you check out, you can "lock in" a deal for you next visit
But...what are the deals like? Are they 30 percent off room or free dinning....like most of the yearly offers? I guess I don't know what the advantage will be. Can anyone explain?

I realized I left out a CRUCIAL point in an earlier post

For those with an existing reservation (maybe this has already been covered)...

I just got off the phone with Disney reservations and peeps with an EXISTING ressie, "should be able to apply any discount ONLINE as long as dates and party members do not change"...hope this proves helpful to someone other than me :)

ETA: Sheesh I left out the most important part!!! Should be able to apply for the discount online!!! Jeez...face palm!!!
That potentially can save Disney a LOT of money!!!
Those lines load up and if people are able to apply discounts online......wait! Have you used the website lately. geesh last night I was poking around for ADRs and checking options for resorts and I kept getting the freaked out Donald and having to reload. Online discounts would be nice but I hope the website can handle the load!

I have DV but if I decide to look for RO prices, that means I have to either fight through all your calls or wait until GP and hope for the best.

Oh side note for Disney Visa holders. I was not aware that now that I bumped to Premier, I will get 2% on my vacation now. Past vacation was just 1%. I'm quite the happy Disney Princess on that one. Just might be getting that Annual Pass after all. LOL
Now to start walking and get in better shape instead of sitting here reading and eating. geesh.

First time poster, Where online do I go to apply the discount if/when it becomes available. I am scheduled for Dec 7-11 at Contemporary in garden wing, garden view. I already have the park hopper and the DDP.
TIA

I don't understand, when you book a bounce back it is not required to have parkhoppers or water parks added on. You can book with just base tickets so why would they require this for the visa/General public offer??

This might have already been answered. Two years ago when I was on this site Black was very up to date on anything Disney. What happened to Black? Is he still on here?

As I learned just today...you can find him on Facebook under Orlando by Joe. He has a page.

Evidently, Black got picked on or something of the like, when his FD dates were off by a couple days. From what I understand he's been missing form these boards ever since, but you can follow him on FB at Orlando by Joe

Based on any history that any of you may have, any chance on me getting a standard room at CBR with free dining right when FD comes out for general public? Or am I just dreaming here? Lol

any word on a minimum number of tickets you have to have to get the free dining? plus im kinda bummed about the having to add park hopper tickets now -- we have little ones and just do 1 park a day -- I guess back to the drawing board to see what is cheaper!

When free dining was released last year we had reservations and they would not add free dining to them we had to redo them all.??

Did you have a room only that needed cancelled and rebooked? Or did you need to switch around your resort and stuff?

It's all based on availability.

I don't know if this is something new. It translates into you need to add park hopper and/or waterparks and more option to get the offer.

Oh no, that's an additional $250 added to the package. But at the same time you can't eat for 10 days at Disney with $250. Obviously it's worth it, but if that's true it will throw my budget out of whack.

On the plus side, we would finally get to check out the extra parks... If you buy a 6-day ticket, do the water park & more days add onto that or do they have to fit within that?

I haven't seen anything say it's different than the normal 2 day.

You basically have 6 theme park days and 6 water park fun and more entries to use within 14 days of first use for either set.

The add ons are for the same amount of days as your tickets. I tried to add just 1 day for the water parks and couldn't.

Thanks for all of the flight info, I would have waited till 6-7 weeks before like a lot of websites suggest is the cheapest time to buy.

So Aubrav 5/14 is a Thursday, would you wait till the following Tuesday to book? If that Tuesday hits and it does not say "sale" would you wait till the following Tuesday?
Personally I would wait for the first available sale after the release. But others have said they've had the best luck just booking as soon as the flights are released without a sale. Is hate to tell you the wrong thing.

My suggestion is to watch flight prices for your airports right now. See what a normal price and a normal sale price is for the next couple of weeks. You will become used to prices and be able to recognize a good price when you see one. Then as soon as the new calendar comes out immediately check the prices and see how they compare to what you've been watching. If it looks like a good price, lower than what you've seen then book it. If not, wait for a sale.

Thankfully the fact that you can modify your reservation on southwest takes the sting out of the cognitive dissonance. Even if you aren't planning to travel in the next year you never know when the credit could come in handy for a quick getaway or to visit family.

So now it also needs to be park hopper and water parks to get FD? I feel like I'm saving less and less as it gets closer. Hopefully still saving with that though. Hmmm...
