After calling in about 15 minutes late I kept calling. Around 7:30 I managed to get an agent, and saved around $320 at POP with a standard room and upgrading back to Regular Dining Plan.

Still waiting to here from my TA. She's great an I'm sure she will get us what we want (it's still available online) but I have to leave for work in 20 min and I'm not going to be very productive if she hasn't emailed me before then!

After 30 minutes of trying to get in, 2 hours and 12 minutes on hold, I finally talked to a very nice agent who informed me that I COULD get what I wanted.

And then I got disconnected.

Started dialing at 7:08am didn't get through until 7:25, and then held for 1 hour and 40 mins......but it was worth it!!!! Staying at a value resort, upgraded to regular dining and saved $500 on my previously booked reservation for Nov 13-19. This discount will help make me make it all the more magical for me and my two boys, as me and my eldest are celebrating our birthdays on Nov 13th & 16th!!!

Oh my goodness - would it be inappropriate for me to say I love you? Thank you!!!!

That totally worked. Got right through to a BBB agent. When I asked to be transferred to reservations, she asked if I already had a reservation (which I did). Wonder if they're starting to catch on...? Regardless, she was very nice and passed me along to a reservation specialist who informed me that the prior agent had already made the changes for us!! How wonderful is that?

So, after three hours, we're finally set. 30% off our existing BC CL room.

and I'm OK with it. After spending over an hour on hold, I spoke to the most polite CM and we went over a few things. We would have had to do a split ressie (we check in on Dec.10th) The only rooms left that would fit my family of 5 comfortably was the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Would it have saved me money? Yes, but we had out hearts set on a Nemo suite. So after many rounds of "Disney Math" with the husband, (and taking into consideration we "took last year off" to save for a Nemo suite) I took myself out of the FD game and kept our original reservation. This will be our first trip without FD (with kids) so it will be a bit of a stretch. We will put our Disney Visa points towards some of our meals and pretend like its FD. LOL! Congrats to everyone who got what they wanted and remember only 356 days more till we can hopefully get wrapped up in the crazy again. It's been a fun! ride

After waiting 1 hr & 1/2 on hold I was able to get FD & change our dates to the week before Christmas. They didn't have any Royal Room standard view rooms left at POR so we upgraded to the Royal Room garden view & still saved a substantial amount of money. So very excited, worth the wait!!

Thank you SO much to the PP who suggested calling BBB! When a CM answered, I politely apologized and said that I had called the wrong number but I wanted to update my reservation to include the FD package. She asked me if I had been a precious guest at WDW at least five times and I replied yes (it's been way more than that!) and immediately transferred me to a CM who applied FD. Time spent on phone - approximately 3 minutes. Amount saved: $1000. THANK YOU!!!

I was on hold for approximately 10 minutes, but got free dining for our stay at CSR November 13-17!! No standard rooms available, so had to switch to a water view...

Those are our exact dates too! I booked online last night (pays to be on the west coast sometimes!) we booked a pirate standard. I'll call back tomorrow when it's less busy and cancel our room only booking for the same dates.

Por has been sold out for hours, but not sure how she checked as the system has been down for quite sometime now. They can't get into any reservations of check anything.

The CM I spoke to this morning said at that point all she had done the whole morning was transfer existing reservations over to the POR. She said it was insane. I inquired about the Ft. Wilderness Cabins (we are a family of 5 also) I considered it for a few mins, but then decided to stay with my original ressie for AOA Nemo suite. No discount. Check out the cabins and see if it is something you might like. It would have saved us a nice amount of money. If I did not have my heart set on AOA I would have booked the cabins. Next year for sure. Good Luck!

I got the same answer. The best she could come up with is FD at BC, which is $350 more than we would be paying full price with DP at POR. Since it goes over our budget, I doubt I will be able to talk DH into it....

We were told the same thing about POR. While we love POR we went with CSR due to availability.
