Thank you for making me smile! I really needed this... I've been on vacation for the last 1 1/2 weeks and was hoping for some type of news during my vacation... but no.. no such luck.

I will hope on one of the FD fairies!

This is the latest I've ever made FDing reservations......assuming they will still extend the deal . It's making me really really nervous, because soon we'll be in our 45 day window so I'll have to pay the FULL price at booking!!! Yowzers!

Is there a certain day of the week (for the general public and for Visa-holders) that they typically announce new offers? Or is it just random?

Okay, I ran the numbers and here they are.....

We would save $1592.83
My parents would save 1062.42
My aunt would save 2272.81 (that is including their portion of our room, because they have 5 total. One of them will be sharing a room with us)

Grand total savings is $4928.06. Now that's a lot of Mickey bars!!!!!

You're right - DV holders offer started Monday, May 6th & GP offer started Thursday, May 9th.

So if we only stay 3 nights and do 3 day park tickets we could still get free dining? For some reason I thought it was a minimum 5 nights.

We are thinking of doing 3 days Disney and 3 days at the dark side in October and free dining would definitely help me persuade the hubs to do both!

I had to do the foot tapping technique as I did not want to wake the kids up with clapping. So now if we all do this, I predict we will hear a valid free dining leak within the next week!

I know. Me, too. But it's only that - just hoping. There's not guarantee, of course, that we'll hear anything as soon this time. Or that they'll even release it as soon as people are suggesting. (Or ever, for that matter... Not to be a downer or anything.) I'm hopeful, though, that we'll all be just fine in the end.

I have 3 playlists on my phone...country, misc songs and....um...Disney. It has park, show and movie music on It. I listen it to it ALL the time, even when my kids either aren't listening or even in the same room as me.

$1400 is an awesome savings. Don't forget our savings is between 3 families. My individual savings is only a little bit over yours. .

Not alone at all!!! My pandora starts with Disney kids channel every time I turn it on. My hubs once said out loud that I was crazy....till he started singing along. Now I just remind him lol

Mine will cost 1600.00 more without FD. To me its more the point of it costing that much more for a whole lot less.....

We will give them our money this year anyway, but maybe not be able to do it again next year....
