Did anyone else see Mouse Planet reporting the free dining offer is extended until July 26th??

Wonder if they didn't get the response they hoped for??

If this has already been discussed I am sorry, I looked but didn't see it. :confused3

I just saw it on Disney's website. That's great, it gives me more time to think about whether I want to start my vacation either Oct. 3 with free dining or wait until Nov 7.:goodvibes

I just saw this posted on touringplans.com. I don't think that they got the reponse that they wanted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but is this the 1st year in 5 years that they have extended it?

this is from the website:

I have got free dining starting 9/26. Wonder why the block out now? :confused3

We have FD from 09/20-09/26, booked in April. Blackout dates should not affect our reservation as we are paid up. I suspect that corporate has filled its FD allotment for those dates and now has blacked them out.

Do you think there is any chance that corporate could try and pull FD from our reservation? If so, we will simply cancel the entire package.

I imagine that they didn't get all the responses they wanted except for from 9/21 to 9/26. Glad I booked back in April for 9/11 to 9/24, though I do need to change it now that I've booked our flight. We are now going 9/12 to 9/23. I also noticed that SW Vacations is offering free DDP as well though their offer of BOGO free plane tix isn't as good as it sounds.

Interesting. Guess it's gonna be busy that one week. Which includes 1/2 of my stay. :headache:

It doesn't include the first 5 days of the original dining dates either. Hope we don't have trouble checking in on August 20th...or they could give us an upgrade. :goodvibes
:dance3:

Maybe they should consider extending the dates of free dining too...I think they'd get a lot more that way!

I think there would be a good response if the rest of the year was included even if there were some blockout times for it.

Disney had the buy 4 get 3 promo and that probably caused many to jump on that bad wagon when it was offered; so, this offer is suffering, I believe.

Now, we have to wait until the end of July or later to see if there will be any new offers for the rest of the year.

That's the week we are going 9-19 - 9-26. :eek:Why did I pick the busy week??
Hopefully it won't be too bad !:goodvibes

We original booked on the bb last year to go from 9/26 - 10/3 but than changed it to 9/18 - 9/27.

NOw I wonder about the crowds. But also there is a triathlon on the 20th and Everest Challange on the 26th plus a USSSA Majors.

May I should rethink about our dates.

It appears you can still get the free dining on those dates in September. I just checked online for Sept 21-27th. I know the B 4Get 3 free did not list the weeks around Easter, but we were able to get that, so it's always a good idea to try. If you are planning on free dining then I wouldn't wait to long to book, because they are probably close to capacity with the discount. When I checked there was no value availability, but was at moderates and deluxe.
