I already have the disney visa. How will I know on April 1st if the free dining is being offered? Do I check the disney visa web site? Is there some kind of code you have to have? If so how will I get it? What time should I book my trip(can I call disney at 12:01am on March 31st?) or do I have to wait until morning? :surfweb:

I'm not sure how Disney Visa would let you know, but I do know that last year Mousesavers had the info on their boards & yes, there will be a code to use. As for the timing, I don't think the call center is open 24hrs, so you would have to wait for the AM. I remember watching the boards last year & everyone was waiting to call the AM the code was available!!

Don't forget if you have a TA you can tell them you want to book the deal too and give them the codes...that may eliminate a long wait at the CRO.....

IF of course it's offered again this year.

:)

Just popped in. Last year I got an e-mail from Disney Visa about the free dining offer before it was released to the public. Hope this helps.

To get offers e-mailed go to the Disney Visa site and log in. You will need to sent up a user name and password and give them your e-mail address!!! I just got an offer by snail mail as well. The offers started coming AFTER I used the site to transfer points to a rewards card. I got one for FREE DINING last spring and another more resently, but I don't remember the details. Also, try going to WDW site and requesting a DVD vacation planner, I get one every year and almost alway get a PIN after.
Hope this helps.

:cool2: Thanks that what I wanted to know. I will make sure to check the disney visa website. I dont have a travel agent because Im thinking about staying offsite if the free dining isn't offered.

Where is this on the site? I logged in and couldn't figure it out. Thanks. :)

When you log in is your e-mail address in the upper right hand corner? If it is then you're all set, you SHOULD get them automatically. But just to be safe, until you actually receive one I would periodically check the site. Also, I received a snail mail offer but on-line it says that there are no offers for my account at this time, go figure?

When I go in there's the login on the left side and I put in my user ID and password. When I do it takes me to the chase page with my e-mail on the left side. I'm going in from chase.com/visa. Am I doing something wrong?

No not at all. They have your e-mail, they know you have a Disney Visa, your all set from what I can tell. Now you need to just wait and see if anything comes up.

I have had Disney Visa since "day 1" and signed up on the web site. To my knowledge, I have never gotten an e-mail regarding any promotions from them - either from Chase or Bank One(?) before Chase. The only e-mails I get from them is when my bill is available or when I make a payment online. :)

I had no idea that Disney Visa holders got first dibs on DDP! Thanks for all the helpful info! My chances of going this summer are very slim if the DDP isn't offered... Let's keep those fingers crossed!! :worship:

Quick Question about the DDP promo....
Would a travel agent have the info early? Last year I went in January and the TA we went to got us the exact same pricing BUT this year we are looking to beat the crowds as much as possible in the summertime and while free DDP would be great we are thinking about going before it even starts so things arent as hectic for us....
Is it typically ALL of August? Or just mid-August through September?
Anyone remember the start date from the last couple summers?
Just curious.....

:)
