Free Dining Dates?

I tried to find the information on the search engine but had no luck. I can never seem to get it to work for me.

I am looking for the dates for free dining. We always go in May or June but are thinking about August next year. If free dining may be offered, I may just book a package without dining and see if we get it for free. If not, I can always add it before we go.

Free dining for the general public this year is 8/24/08-9/20/08....There is no way of knowing what the dates will be next year, since Disney seems to be shortening the time every year.Plus, there is no guarantee they will even offer it again.They probably will, but if the resort bookings are fine without it they will possiblyy limit the dates or not offer it at all.No way to know till April 2009 for sure.

Feel free to click on this link and hang out with us as we are anxiously awaiting the announcement of the FD bounceback off. It should be announced on Aug. 24 (Sunday)...that's the date this year's FD begins! Most of us are going this year for FD and want it again next year...

This should give you a ballpark idea of when the general public FD dates will be give or take a week or so....at least I think that's how it has panned out in the past!

Much as I love Disboards, I've found I don't have much luck searching for threads, even when I have exact title of thread I'm looking for.

...I actually have better luck doing a google search. Just put in thread words you're interested in and the word disboards and quite often you'll get enough choices to steer you right.

On the everything you want to know about free dining thread, someone posted that the dates were early August until the beginning of October. I'm not sure if they were a cast member or not. Also, they noted that the free dining was the new CS only with 2 snacks dining.

Then they are half right. The free dine bounceback will go into early october but the free dine offer will be the same plus dine it was this year, NOT the cs dine

We check out in the morning. I wonder if we ask if we can get the free dining bounceback. Right now we have a flyer for 30% off deluxe or 40% off dvc.

I believe what Batman says. Everything Batman says has worked out just like he said. My belief is backed by many reputable Disers. . (Okay batman, you better not be pulling our legs this time).


Also, to the poster who said they have 30% off, that is because free dining has not started yet. Last year, the offer for free dining began on or around September 1st. You may just miss it, don't forget to ask at the desk when checking out.

we might stay at a value resort in february for 1 night before our timeshare starts -----
we would be there on February 5th 2009,
- would i be offered the BB free dining then, or would that offer be exired by then?
I am bouncing back in Spetember of 2009, but if i can get free dining w/o having to wait to see IF it is a general public code in spring.

SO basicly if i am at ALL STARS on February 5th 2009, will i be able to get a BB offer with free dining?

Free dining bounceback will be way over in february. It will end oct 24 2008. And if they have a free dining bounceback there WILL be free dining next year

Hey! Batman posted on another forum...the Disney Dining Plan forum...there is a thread there that is watching for FD 2009 too...check it out....I think he/she predicted that FD BB would be for midAugust (some date in the 20s if I remember right) through 10/4....tomorrow we shall see!

How long will this bouceback offer be available to book? We check in on October 12th will this offer still be good? If not do you know if there will be a bouceback offered to us during our stay?
