Free Dining Dates Expanded? Canada only?

As of midnight last night, when I go to Special Offers, I am seeing the above (if my photo link works?) indicating that Free Dining begins August 17th.

2 of my sisters-in-law called today to rebook with Free Dining (we will be there Aug 19-27), the agent at Disney wasn't aware of the Free Dining new dates but when they said they were seeing it from Canada, the agent was able to book it for them.

Does everyone see the new dates?

The summer offer that expired in the US is also still good in Canada for booking until July 7.

Okay, I have a question. I'm canadian, and I have a trip coming up that starts on August 17th. How would I go about getting free dining? Do I need to cancel my current reservation, or can I call and have it added? Also, if I have to cancel, would my ADRs and FP+ ressies be cancelled too?

I would like to know this as well as I am in the same boat but we are booked for August 24th!

No, you won't lose your ADRs or FP+ reservations by re-booking to add the free dining. I called in a few days ago and it took just a few minutes to do. The CM just took off my previously booked room discount and added the free dining. Have a great trip!

I am so glad I read this thread early this morning! I was disappointed that free dining was originally starting on our checkout date (Auguat 31st) and had no idea that us Canadians could now be eligible for free dining as of August 17th! I made a quick phone call to Disney when they opened up their lines and within a matter of minutes I had free dining! I had to pay an additional $252 US because I previously booked with a room discount but when you look at the cost of the quick service plan for four adults and one child for seven days it was totally worth $252! Thank you op!!!

Marchingstar - there was no need to cancel our previous reservation to include the free dining. Our reservation number stayed the same and it did not affect our ADRs or FP+. Within minutes I received an email from Disney indicating our package with free dining and when I go on MDE it shows our ADRs and FP+. Nice and easy!
