Free dining Blues

I don't understand why these posts aren't in dining or resorts.... :confused3
 
Seriously??? How rude can you be? I am very sorry if I posted in the wrong place. It was not meant to. Geez this is why I hate posting on the Dis......it always feels like I'm being personally attacked!!! And all because I simply posted in the wrong thread! SMH.....as you all can see I haven't posted as many times as the rest of you, so it was an honest mistake that I posted in the wrong place. And at this point if I get banned, I seriously don't care.....I have seen nothing but condescending rudeness by a bunch of know it all Disney Veterans. All because something was posted in the wrong place. Maybe the moderators need to start coming down on cyber bullies while they are at it!!!

Relax. It's also possible that your TA is waiting to see if anything opens. I know ours had to release our standard room to take the King room she had reserved. I have also seen postings on a number of sites where people indicated that they had more than one reservation in a way to cover their tracks, so it's "possible" it's still floating out there. Have you called your TA and asked specifically. If she doesn't have anything and says so be honest and decide if you trust him/her or go forward and do it yourself.
We use one because she can nab those ADRs better than I did.

It's all a matter of threads being placed in the forums that are most frequented by others looking for the same answers or answers given by people who have the most knowlege on that particular subject.

I think the frustration may lay more with the moderation of the forum than with any particular poster or thread; I'm sorry that you've felt singled out.

I still haven't heard from my TA if she was able to get us free dining for our November trip. She did say she couldn't get through the phone the first day, but surely I should've heard something by now. I'm trying to be patient, but I don't want to miss out either. I'm tempted to go online and book the package myself. I hate to do that because she's been great the last few years. What would you do?

This is just wrong!
My TA stayed at it till she got us free dining at the resort we were already booked at. She stated she was on hold for 4 hrs +!! No way I could of done that at my work.
Your TA is working for you! You should of heard back from her by now.

In fact my TA told me she had a "hold" on a new reservation with free dining just in case she did not get through in time.

I would be switching my TA or booking myself, You are the client and she should do all she can (and keep you updated) to get you what you request.

I really hope you get your free dining.
