Free dining and DVC.

I have not found this answer anywhere yet so I thought I would ask you all. Can DVC members take advantage of the free dining plan? We will be at BLT this Nov. Thanks for any help.

No. Because you are DVC or using DVC disney looks at it as you are already getting a discount so free dining is not available. Sorry. We usually rent points from a DVC member but when we go during free dining it usually is cheaper for us to book through disney. Hope you guys have a great trip!!!

Just FYI though, you CAN purchase the Dining Plan at the $42 regardless of the time of year (I believe). In addition, I don't think you need to buy park tickets either.

That is correct. You may purchase any of the dining plans and no park ticket purchase is necessary

Yes and no...

If you booked the free dining package through Disney that includes your room at full rack rate and tickets, then yes, you'll get the free dining.

If you are staying on any sort of points (your own, a family members, you rented, etc.) then no. You can however purchase the dining plan without having any package or ticket requirements.

Remember that by going in a non-peak season, you are getting a "discount" already through lower points costs.
