Are there any stipulation with RO promos? Like 2 night min, tickets etc ?

No room only is just that Room Only. HOWEVER, it does not carry through your stay.

Say you have a 6 day trip:

If the discount covers the first three days of your trip and the last day of the offer is day three, then the rest of your days are at regular rate and vice versa, if there is not RO for the first days of your trip but it starts on day four then the last days then it kicks in on the last days.

So I am booked thru a disney specialist at POR for November. I'm also a DV holder. We booked because we will go no matter what. But if they do in fact release all dates tomorrow, am I allowed to call and get the promo, or am I dependent on her to call?? I'm just really nervous that I'm not gonna get it!! Plus if RRs are eligible, I want to upgrade from preferred to those.

your TA owns the reservation, Disney will not let you make any changes

Last year we had the regular dining plan with 1 snack a day and we ended up going to DTD the day we were leaving and getting a bunch of snacks at Goofy's Candy Shop to bring home with us.

We went in October last year. We used the vast majority of our snacks at Food and Wine and then grabbed a bunch of stuff to take home the last day. :)

Anyone here stay at Coronado springs? It might be my backup resort. Just wondering which room type would put me closest to bus/main building or at least not to far out. Thanks!

I'm still getting conflicting info from my TA and from Chase-- not trying to rain on the parade, but is there ANY info that suggests this will get pushed back and tomorrow will NOT be the date? I'm new to this, so not sure if the conflicting info is typical....

If someone booked a package with flight and did not use her DV will she lose any $$$ if she reboots tomorrow with her DV??

They wouldn't want/need to rebook, they will need to call and ask them to apply the FD to the existing reservation, the CM will do everything they need to do and then a minimum $200 payment would have to be paid toward the existing reservation to secure the DV early booking. IF the trip is already paid in full, they would not be able to do the DV early booking. They would have to call when the promo is open to the GP and ask that FD be applied and the price for the dining plan would be refunded.

Hello there :wave2:

I am going to try to book tomorrow morning for FD. This trip will be our family of four and my DBIL family of six. I want to try for two POR AB rooms since there will be a total of 10 of us. I already have accounts created for DBIL and DSIL and DH and I already have accounts from previous trips. I sent out invites to link all of us together with my DH's account since he is the only DV cardholder. Problem is that MDE keeps sending an error message when I try to accept the family invite to link the accounts (imagine that). So will this be an issue with booking two rooms in the morning if I can't get the this working? We are paying for both rooms with our Disney Visa and plan to pay the deposit for both tomorrow. Will this be a problem?

What number should Visa members call to book FD?

1 407 W DISNEY :thumbsup2

Or any of the other hundreds of #'s that Disney has routed to their call center.
There are a lot of #'s out there that belong to Disney. They all go to the same call centers and they can all do the same thing. The numbers work on a rotary system, connected to one of their call centers and whichever number that a Disney customer calls it routes to the next available CM.

I would book a preferred room as that will put you in Casitas 1,2 or 3. Another great option is the Standard Business Class rooms which are in Cabana 9B and include continental breakfast and drinks in the evening for not much more.

a little trick we always do--but now with magic bands, a little more "awkward"--was that I was listed in one room and my wife was listed in the other room. I would put my DFIL in my room and DMIL in her room. Now, we did not stay sleeping in those arrangement, but that way, each couple had access to both rooms (especially since we had kids in both rooms). The good thing was that both rooms were booked in our names and used our DV. Again, a little easier with the Magic To the World Cards, but if you get desperate, it is a thought . . .

As long as you both have your profiles done the CM should be able to link you together. I'm just not sure about using the DV for bother reservations before they are linked together. :scratchin
If they can't do it, they may have to connect you with the IT department.
You may want to call tonight and see if you can get that resolved before tomorrow. :thumbsup2

If I were to call and do a new reservation, then have her cancel the other, could they move the deposit to the new ressie? Then add her name later? I'm just worried, she's not able to call me till 8:30 cst to talk details (room/resort changes if needed) which will be 9:30 est and then by the time she gets thru....we are currently booked in a POR preferred, which is great, but if possible will move to a RR. what are the chances of still getting the promo?

:thumbsup2 sounds like a plan to me! Thanks for the advice :goodvibes Now to plan a back up resort in case POR is not included....yay for planning!
