Wanted to share here too. now that I'm a little calmed down it will be a less spastic post. I called to see if I had a Pin attached to my name. No luck, asked about hubby's name, no luck, but the lady asked for my address both times...got me thinking. Last time we booked under his name was for our Honeymoon and we were at our old address. So I asked if she could check his name against that address. LUCK!!!! :cool1: It worked!! His name old address (his sister still lives there so I don't see a moral issue with this LOL) I have NO idea what email was used when he booked our honeymoon so that would have been a bust from the start, and my email wasn't showing on my account (which may have been a glitch bc I got my res email when I made it). Anywhooooooo Good Luck all!! :flower3::lovestruc

So you booked your trip? Woohoo!!! Doing the happy dance for you!!!!!

We do this as well but instead of getting true Disney dollars from the park I just made some out if card stock with my printer. You can find downloads online too. Then a week before our trip they counted how much they had and I went and bought gift cards for that amount. We use them for chores, rewards, etc.

Great idea! I looked and I am not paying $15 to ship paper!

The park is the only place to get them in person. (Disney Store discontinued selling them several years ago). We reuse what we have now and convert to gift card before we leave. But, I love the idea of creating your own!! Excellent idea kelly3927! :thumbsup2

I spoke with a CM today about having some mailed. I was told was to send a letter with the amount, denominations requested, and my contact information (address, phone, and/or email) to Disneyland Ticket Mail Orders, PO Box 61061, Anaheim, CA 92803-6161. We live closer to Disneyland, but there may be a Disneyworld address as well. The CM said that once they received the letter request, I would receive a call back asking for my credit card information. She double checked and said that there was "no indication" that there was a fee or shipping charge to do this.

I've never done this before, but thought I might give it a try to see how (and if) the process works. A lot more cumbersome than creating them, but I have to say, the new 2013 Disney Dollars look pretty fun!

Let us know! The website I could order them from had the shipping.

Id keep looking for another ADR, but I would just show up and tell them you have 5 before I would give it up - they could turn you away, but William likely just seat you, your just have to wait a little longer.

I agree. I would be completely shocked if they turned you away for one person.

I wouldn't. I imagine that when they book the restaurant that they consider how many tables they have of what size. Going from three to four people probably wouldn't be a big deal because the party would still be able to sit at the same size table. Going from four to five, however, could cause problems because the larger table that the party now requires would have been reserved for other parties.

Well as I said before, back when Le Cellier was nearly as a hot ticket as BOG is now, I had an ADR for two and came in with four. They were very accommodating and it didn't seem to disrupt anyone else. I think they have some overflow to accommodate things since some folks take longer to eat while some are much shorter, it isn't an exact science as to which tables will be ready at what time.

Worse they can tell you is to hit the road.

Would love to do a meet up if we can. Maybe we should try to create our own lime green mickeys for a "yep, I'm a member of this (and other?) Dis-threads".

Yes! Lets plan a meet up! I'm down for a meet up with anyone there during my dates!

We will be in POFQ on the 21st so it should be easy to visit! How old are your children (if any)?

So what do we do? Pick place and time and hope people show? Lol

I have a 5 year old daughter that will be there with me. Someone suggested meeting at the River Roost Lounge at POR to see Yeeha Bob on the 20th. I think that's a good place for us at POR and POFQ to meet one night...just have to find a date that works for those of us up for a meet up!

Oh pooh. We don't arrive until the 21st.

Maybe we can pick another date?

That's good! We are not doing the park hopper this year since it should be called "how to kill yourself at Disney". So there will be quite a few evenings we will be hanging at the hotel. Our plans are (if this helps you or anyone:

9/21 Epcot
9/22 HS
9/23 MK
9/24 DTD
9/25 Epcot
9/26 MK
9/27 AK and MNSSHP
9/28 DTD
9/29 HS
9/30 AK
10/1 Home

Totally jealous that my friend got a free dining PIN she doesn't even plan to use! Ugh...these PINs are driving me nuts! I'm happy for her though, and trying to convince her to stay on property to use it!!

9/19 - MK 7:10 BOG dinner reservation
9/20 - Epcot - 10:40am Akershus reservation
9/21 - HS - 5:20 (I think) 50's PTC reservation
9/22 - AK - 6:15 Hoop De Doo reservation
9/23 - maybe back to MK or DTD - 10:40am Chef Mickey's reservation
9/24 - fly home

Hopefully we can fit in a meet with some of you during our trip!
