So I looked at the Dis meets thread for Sep. Not many posts there. The few I saw were all for late Sep - early Oct. :/ Anyone here going to be at our happy place around Sep 12 - 21?

Update:
Joe (Black562) - Sep 6 - 14
Rhody Red - Sep 7 - 17
Susie (me - Sylkie31) - Sep 12 - 21
Rach2109 - Sep 18 - 24
Marsheliz - Sep 21 - ?
Mattressman - Sep 21 - 30
ddeschon - sep 22 - 29

Haha! I was just thinking I should ask this! It would be nice to put faces to the posts!

We are there 9/21-10/1 at POFQ

This is an excellent idea to use the Disney dollars for rewards between now and September! Where can I get them other than a park?

We use them as rewards for our kids too! We actually have friends that go more often then us (lucky :)) so they pick them up at the parks. I do believe they still have at the Disney store, but idk for sure because they closed ours about 5 years ago! you could also order through Disney but I believe shipping is $15! Good luck! It is a great motivator for our kids and is less money to bring for spending. :goodvibes

So you guys think I should just leave the reservations as is? Or should I try to change them? I just don't want to loose any if my reservations if she tries to change them...especially BOG!

Personally I might see if they could be changed to 5 and if not leave at 4. I don't think they would turn you away. It could have been a mistake on Disney's end (theoretically). You may just need to wait a few minutes.

Question for you guys. I originally booked my trip and ally ADRs for 4 people. Then we added a fifth person to the trip. My resort reservation says 5 but my ADRs still say 4. I asked my TA about adding the other person to the ADRs and she said she would have to cancel and rebook to make them all for 5 and I may not get everything I have already booked. She said just leave as is and when I get there just tell them I have 5 and not 4 and that it was the TAs mistake for not adding the other person. Has anyone ever done this? Does it work? I'm nervous that they won't let us go in with 5 without actually having it on the reservation...

This is iffy. Going from 2 or 3 to 4 is easy because most tables are 4 tops. Adding a 5th puts you in a different table category. BUT if you can find reservations for 5, I would do that now. Any ones you can't get, just tell them when you check in. I had a friend go over spring break who did this exact same things, adding a 5th person about 3 weeks before going. They didn't have an issue at all.

Thanks! I don't have a store near me so I will need to look online. Why in the world would shipping be $15!?!?

Last I knew a few years ago they were phasing disney Dollars out. You can only get them at the parks anymore from what I have been told. And even then, it's at select places.

Your welcome! I have no idea! That's why we ended up just having our friends get them for us! I'm pretty sure the price for shipping is the same no matter how many you get. I haven't checked in awhile though. :goodvibes

That's exactly what I would do! Change if you can now, if not keep ADR and tell them when you get there! :goodvibes

I just emailed the TA and asked if she could try and change what she can to 5 and if she can't then ill keep those ones at 4 and cross my fingers they don't give us a hard time. She said she has to cancel and rebook to get 5 people and can't just add on so I asked if there was any way to check availability for 5 before she cancels. I'm just worried something won't work out if we keep them all at 4.

She can call dining and have them look and they will only cancel if she gives them the ok. She can even go online and make new reservations and then cancel the others after.

Me too! I am worrier and like to have all my ducks in a row so I would at least try to change. I am taking that the TA made all your ADRS? Did she give you the confirmation #'s? If you have the #'s I would try calling Disney Dining and pick the option about changing ADR's already made. I believe you just have to enter confirmation # and you might be able to add a person without even having to speak to someone. :upsidedow

She'll have to talk to someone. And if she was taking a person off, they would be able to do it, but adding, they can't without making a new one.

I made my most of my ADR's over the phone and I always told them 4 adults (2 are now Disney adults) 1 child and 1 infant. When I went online to check my ADR's they all said 6 adults! Being the paranoid freak that I am, I went ahead and changed them online. Moral of the story, CM's do make "mistakes" entering the info and I am sure CM's at the restaurants are used to hearing that and will happily accommodate the change in party size by one. Especially if you are going in Sept? There may be no to only minimal wait. We have gotten 15-20 mins early for ADR and they were ready to seat us then! No Worries!!!!

Personally, I think I would have my TA call anyway and try to change it to 5 but if there is no availability, then leave it at 4 people.

I am a worrier though and would stress myself out....:dance3:

Like others have said, I doubt they would turn you away, just wait a little longer.:)

I checked online and all are available for 5 on the same days (except for minor time changes on a couple) except for BOG!! It doesn't surprise me that BOG isn't available though. I'm hoping she can change the others to 5 and then we'll leave BOG at 4 and hope they can accommodate the extra person! If she emails me back again and tells me again to leave them all alone then I'll just call myself and change what I can! I know no trip is ever perfect but I want this trip to be as close to it as we can get. I'm nervous about the BOG reservation, as its a special request from my 5 year old. All she keeps taking about is eating in the beasts castle!
