Yeah I'm going for the bounceback too. I think, if I get it, I may book CBR. It was my first Disney resort I stayed at, and only stayed there once. I think after 18 years, it's time to go back. My plan is to return from this trip with a trip booked for next year for me and a dear friend. I want to get a postcard from that resort and hand it to her when I get back....just have it say "you and I booked at CBR - list the dates". I think that would bring tears to anyone's eyes...I just hope it works out. This would be her "I beat cancer" trip....so good karma should be with me.

We used to use Lime Green Mickey Head paint samples from Home Depot...till they discontinued them. It was fun looking for all the lime green mickeys!

Oh I did that once. Met a few great people and was even invited to a dis meet at our resort.

I was an art major in college! (fun fact, my Disney portfolio got me a full ride scholarship)

Yeah I know, it's like the biggest secret ever as to how someone gets one. I think it's right up there with the formula for Coke and KFC.

With one exception - people want the pin code secret & coke formula!

Two weeks ago DS and I sat at a red light for what seemed like 10 minutes. I finally said "Give me a green light!", and it turned green immediately. Then I said jokingly, "Give me a pot of gold!", and I kid you not, we turned the corner and there was the biggest rainbow I've ever seen. DS shouted, "Mom! Find the gold! Find the gold!"

Ok...here's the dilemma:

We are booked at AofA LM starting 10/2 for 5 nights/4 park days. I fully realize that LM will likely be excluded from virtually every offer, so I've decided on POP as my back up(I've even decided on room rqsts!)

1st: should I switch my ressie now to get best choice at POP?

2nd: I did the math on POR because everyone loves it. It will cost us $140 beyond the QS to DD plan upgrade cost to go this route. Is it worth it? The rooms are slightly bigger, and you get a queen bed instead of fulls. Worth it? I like the POP theming pretty well What do people love about POR and POFQ?

3rd: what else should I consider? Murphy bed I think is at POR too. What about Coronado Springs? I think it's about the same $ as POR. If I switch, I don't want something that may be excluded or extremely limited like AB rooms likely will be.

Travel group: 4 total. DH DD7 & DD4(her 1st trip)

If you had the choice, are you hoping to get a Free dining PIN for later this year, or a Bounceback for next August/September?

Definitely bounceback for next year ... FD pin for later this year (as in after the trip in Sep) wouldn't do me any good. But for those w/ trips already planned for later this year, I hope they'll get the fd pin.
