Good morning everybody !!! Glad to read all of you are getting what you want ... and saving money with FDP :hyper:. Pixie Dust for those who are still on hold. pixiedust:

Can anyone point me to a place where I could find out park hours for 9/23-9/27? This is our first trip as adults and I'm trying to figure out dinner etc options.

I find this Disney thing to be so overwhelming and I feel helpless with all of my annoying questions.

Just go on the Disney website, under Theme Parks, there should be a link for park hours. You just use the calendar button to the right of the date and select the day you want to see the hours for :)

The days that MK close at closes at 7 are the halloween party at the park which requires a hard ticket.

And you can find all of the restaurants on the DDP here including a menu for each

So happy for everyone who got the FD! We would go without it, but sure is a nice perk. POP September 17-25 with upgrade from QS.

Slept in. Went online and booked AS Movies Preferred for our dates. Glad I waited. Now to make a ticker.

Alright, so I'm sticking with my estimate I made earlier. The hold times only seem to be long when they're having problems, while many have got through relatively quickly. This is still miles away better than it has been in the past. I can remember an hour and a half without breaking a sweat and that was calling right at 7am.

I think crowds wont bad at all come September and we are all in for a great time.

:coffee:

Exactly, plus today there are more people calling in all at the same time. Monday just the "few" of us crazy's new about it and it was only for DV CC. By today, many more were aware!;):);):)

Walking the dog first thing in the AM has never been more enjoyable. I cannot thank you all enough for the help and suggestions. I booked POP 9/23-9/27 with QS dining.

Can anyone tell me there thoughts on the next level of dining? My husband is a meat and potato guy and it's quite likely we would eat at a steak restaurant like Yachtsmen steakhouse 3 of the 4 nights. Because of this I'm thinking that I should upgrade the dining plan. In doing so, it'd be approximately $18 per person, per day correct? Thoughts, opinions?

I am late to the party but I looked at a couple of pages and did not see a response. I would highly recommend upgrading. Also Yachtsman is a two credit meal. They have a 1 credit called Captains Grill that my DH and I enjoyed. I called him and he suggested:

Liberty tree
Ohana
Whispering cannon cafe

If you choose to not upgrade you can always pay OOP. Have you looked at any menus?

Yeah!! Finally booked with free dining. I was on hold for approximately 20 minutes before I spoke to a CM.

ASMu 9/24/13 to 10/1/13 with QS dining! Just DH and me celebrating our 30th anniversary! WooHoo! Cannot wait to get back home!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:hyper:

Congrats to everyone for getting FD!!!

I've been on hold an hour and 40 minutes....

Still on hold here...1 hour and 40 minutes!!!:scared1: I called a few minutes after 7 am!
I have to get ready for work but I am terrified that I will have a head full of shampoo when they finally come on the line. I could have easily gotten ready while on hold. They really need to give an estimated wait time.

Praying it isn't mush longer or I am going to have to hang up.

So happy for everyone getting FD reservations! Phone waits are long but CM very helpful so far.

Congrats to all that have gotten their FD & good luck to those still waiting!!! 'm excited for everyone even though I won't be able to call until Oct. dates come out! :) I got happy for a sec thinking maybe the FD could be done online & I wouldn't have to fool with the phones when my dates do come out, but then realized I don't think I could sit still & not book my reservation until August, that would double the stress LOL but I'm kind of looking forward to being on the phone at 6 CST & joining in the craze!!!

Sorry. Things are moving quickly and I missed this. :) steak is offered at many, many restaurants; not just the ones that scream steakhouse. Check the menus. Steak is the only "adult" food my DD, who will be just 10 when we go, wil eat.

Oh, **************** has menus! : )

Thank you! All of this info is so overwhelming...I should of called out sick today! haha thanks, off to take a peak

What's MNSSHP?? Where could I find info about? appreciate the help

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

It's the reason we go in September every year! We love it!

But you have to buy separate tickets-- though it is TOTALLY worth it to us. Great character meetings, walk-on rides, amazing villains show, and the best parade Disney ever had.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm

Oh yeah... almost forgot-- you get to wear costumes and go trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom. Which is pretty cool.

When I was talking to my CM this morning about booking my AoA suite (which I ended up booking as Lion King from the Nemo we had booked previously.) she told me that I could just book as a "family suite" without a specific theme and that it would be possible we could get a Nemo suite on arrival if they were available. So if people wanting a Nemo suite want to take a chance that is apparently an option.
