Wow this thread is still going strong. We'll be on part 3 before we know it. Imagine how crazy it will get when some promos start coming out.

Tooth isn't really hurting at this point and I did a filling to just cover any gaps and sharp edges until Monday. I see a crown in my future at about the same time I will pay off my trip. That's gonna be an expensive month for sure.

We tried 4 times to book with the free dining PIN for 12/2 thru 12/7 and they kept quoting us $500 more than the website. We kept getting excuses of extra tax and that the website is always cheaper excuses.

Finally I used the on line chat and a nice csr gave me a link to the old Disney website to book with the PIN.

I guess there is no link on the new site for PINs and hence u have to call in....

Glad we found a way around it... If u need the link PM me and I will share. Or just use the online chat option because I guess the phone reps don't know the trick.

I have not been on in a few days, I was so upset when I got the pin for fd, but could not get a room, so today with the help of a great cm I now have my fd and all my ressies are made. I wanted por, but had to go to CB, pirate rooms, the boys are thrilled. Could not get into BOG, but lunch will have to do.

I called.... and I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first she said that the person whose name is on the mailer would have to go. I told her I called last week and they told me I had 3 addresses attached to my name, and that address that the mailer was sent to was one of them.

She checked, and sure enough, she got free dining for me.

11/11-17 at POR in a garden view room.

For those dates, at POR, all they had left (for FD) were garden view and royal themed rooms.

So thanks to the post I read within the past 2 weeks about someone doing this. I would have never known, so THANK YOU!!!

Happened to fb chat with a long distance friend yesterday, and told her we were going to WDW again with free dining, and she said she probably couldn't go in Sept., and asked if it would be offered later.
I told her about pins, which she had never heard of, so she called in and she HAD A PIN.
Lucky ducky!
She's hoping to go in Oct.
I think I'll call one more time today. Like I said before, it would only be to change our RO first night, which would give us two more meals, but if the price difference for upgrading fd and new ticket prices and loss of RO discount for that night add up to too much, I might keep it the way it was.

Worth pricing out, though, to get one more TS and free food our first night.

We have never done this before, but we are booked with FDDP for September and received a pin code in the mail last Wednesday which gives us options to go in Oct/Nov ...which we would prefer. If we call WDW Travel and try to move our dates, will our amounts change (for the new tix prices), or will they just apply our code to our current reservation and change dates without changing the amount we owe?

I believe you get the new ticket price. Plus the room rates ate higher in Oct. and Nov. To check the price just price the package on line, without the dinning, which will be free.

Sorry, but I believe they will charge difference in ticket price increase. And another thing to keep in mind is that room rates are higher for Oct/Nov than Sept. as well.
