We are planning 2009 vacation as you do . We are going 23 August for 18 days with a first time cruise in the middle .As Part of DVC can we get the free dining if we buy magic your way passes .Thanks Janet

Free dining, if offered for 2009, is only available for rack rate cash room reservations through WDW Travel. DVC reservations on points are not eligible for free dining.

No, free dining comes as part of a package that includes room and passes. They can offer the free dining because the rooms are booked at rack rate with no discounts. With a DVC reservation you are booking the room on points so free dining is not an option. You can purchase the Disney Dining Plan with a DVC reservation though.

Have they announced free dining for '09 yet?
