Does anyone know the exact or even proposed dates for free dining for 2009?

We are hoping to book a bounceback when we visit this September.
:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: And then upgrade to the DxDDP just like this year. :dance3:

:thanks:

I haven't heard anything yet.I know the Uk dates were recently released, but that doesn't help all that much considering their dates are never the same as ours.I have heard they may use a tiered system for next year.Moderates resorts would get you the counter service dining plan, and deluxe resorts would get you the basic dining plan, and value resorts may get cut out. But again nothing is concrete.Bounceback dates are also not usually the same dates as general public free dining.

A tiered system? Oh wow they have got to be kidding !!! ...(if this indeed happens)
I could not live on couter service for two weeks!!! :rotfl:
Do you remember where you heard this? Was it from the UK board?

Well I guess I will just hang around and wait popcorn:: to we arrive in the World to get the scoop. :confused3

Disney if you are reading: "A free counter service plan will not get me to Disney next September for two weeks where I will spend mucho dinero on Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Perfectly Princess Tea party, MNSSHP and DiveQuest." :snooty:

I remember reading it too: 2CS Dining Plan for folks staying at moderate resorts and the regular 1TS/1CS Dining Plan for folks staying at deluxe resorts (and no free dining at budget resorts). I thought I read the rumor here on the DIS.

That's the UK deal, yes.

While it's likely that any Future Stay promotion, or standard-in-April Free Dining promo, will include all resort levels and all versions of the Dining Plan - it's somewhat widely speculated that the QSDP is the one that will be free; the basic and deluxe DPs will likely be offered at the price differences.

I havn't heard any thing other than the previous posters but we were also hoping for the return of the Free dining next year. But now I have to rethink it and figure out what I want to do. We are DVC owners but used all our points for our Oct trip. We also got AP since we plan to go again next Sept/Oct. Now I have to crunch the numbers and decide if I want to buy the DDE card and just get a AP discounted room (if they offer it at that time) or do we want to go with the Free Dining which may or may not be a deal for us.
DD14 and I will be there 2 weeks, DH will have to leave after the first week so we will have to finish up his extra dinning credits.

heres to hoping!
we are booked at POR riverside sept 17th-19th 2009 and would be just fine with a free CS dining plan :goodvibes :snooty:

The posted tiered deal is the UK deal.

Before anyone starts anticipating the US deal based on the UK one: this year UK customers couldn't get free dining if they booked a value resort, and US customers could. But I think it may be a good guess that if US customers can book free dining at a value resort, it'll be with the counter service plan.

That would completely stink if they cut those staying at a value out of the free dining. We can only afford a value. I was hoping for free dining for our Sept'09 trip.I guess I'll just hang back and hope for the best
