Now I've got to find a new TA, Crabby Patties!!

May I suggest Debbie Kuhns of YMJ. She's always on top of this and switches all of her clients over automatically without them having to do anything. We often get an updated price email before the WDW offices even open on the morning of free dining announcement. PM me if you want more contact info for these wonderful ladies.

Their services are FREE, yes I'll say it again FREE. People are going to a whole lot of hassle calling and waiting horribly long times when all of that could easily be avoided. Unless you enjoy doing this yourself for some strange reason I highly recommend using a Disney authorized TA. It will save you a bunch of stress.

How the heck did you get a family suite? Did you have it reserved already and just add the dining? If so, how long ago did you reserve?

I had nothing reserved. I suspect it might have just been my dates. I know other people have booked it, and some posts saying it was sold out. I guess they just had an opening for my dates.

Either that or my TA and the CM she called are golden.

I am almost in tears.... I have been trying to get my AAA TA for over 3 hours and I keep getting told she is with someone, she gets one more hour and I am calling Disney myself and doing it.....its actually not my TA she is on vacation this week and this lady is supposed to be helping me, but she is not and I am so furious right now, I cannot even concentrate on my work......

Relax it will all work out ok but I do understand your frustration. Call and book yourself so you can relax. This way if you want to switch it over to your regular TA when she is in you can do that when she is back. It is just a matter of you signing a release to give the reservation over to them. Hey let us know if you get a discount on top of the free dining.

To anyone who is going to say it's impossible don't bother.

Tried today and was told no free dining available for POP. Only Sports or Music Values available. My guess is they hold rooms back for awhile. This happened last year too as POP became widely available in May.

When are you going??? I was able to modify my existing reservations for 2 pop preferred rooms sept 4-9th without any hassle at all.

Got it. My TA called to say we got everything we wanted...POR 09/13-09/27 for us, 09/13-09/21 for my parents... FREE DINING!

What was I so stressed about????

Thank YOU!!!! Your phone number got me in and was only on hold for 10 minutes. Got the AKL :Savanna View Bunk Bed, for four w/free dinning, park hopper all for only $2850. Moved from CSR to AKL and saved $800, what a deal!!!!!

I don't know if I booked on this thread already or not??? We got Poly - 8/24 - 8/31!!!

We have our ADR's already: CRT (dinner), Ohana, Luau, Coral Reef, and Italy.

i was up at 12:30 last night checking for the offer on disney website, finally gave up at 1am. up this morning at 6am and i was booked by 6:15. We are so excited, this is our third year w/fd. we are staying at ASMu sept. 13-21, wanted movies but only preferred were avail.

Here is what I would do in your situation. I would go 8/21-8/24 with the 9 day ticket and then 8/24-8/29 on 1 day base tickets and then save them to upgrade a ticket in the future. They cost $76.77 each which could save a chunk on a future trip that was not booked with tickets. Either way if you decide to just use the one day pass just think of it as paying that $76.77 per person to eat for 5 days and then it doesn't seem like such a waste. Do you have AAA? If so you could probably save about $50 if you used your AAA card for a room only reservation.

Thank you. I do have AAA, but are you saying to apply the AAA discount to the 8/21-8/24 window (since it can't be combined with the FD portion of the trip?). I just wanted to understand where the discount was applicable, plus it would only be on the Room. Thanks again for your suggestion.

We got exactly what we wanted.....

2 rooms for at Pop standard for 5 nights.... 3 adults with FREE DINING!!

also was able to get Free Dining for my friends family... at Pop for 4 nights
2 adults and 2 teens

We booked Pop Century Sept 20-26 for our 15th wedding anniversary! We did decide to upgrade to the DDP. This will be our third year in a row with free dining only this time we are going without the kids. I might have problems with that - I hope I don't feel guilty and think about how much fun they would be having if they were there. But this is our anniversary and we did honeymoon at WDW 15 years ago.

Now to just figure out our ADRs and get those made tomorrow! Just wanted to share my excitement!

That explains it, you went through a TA....if it is a big agency they have a block of rooms reserved for their clients. WDW can't sell them, they show as booked, but if the TA can sell them. Trick is, finding the right TA that booked the rooms.......you were lucky.

I'll still be going, but it'll cost a bit more. I still booked the dining plan, and have reservations for the Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine w/Fantasmic, Tokyo Dining, Jiko, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Le Celier. It'll be my first time back to Disney World since 1979!

We have 3 adults, but we booked 2 seperate rooms (so my Mom and I can have privacy from my brother and viceversa)

the rooms are on 2 seperate ressies.... one room is 917 and the other is 690... totaling $1607, but I think it would have been a bit cheaper than that if all 3 adults were in the same room.... if that helps you at all!

Hmm...that's not what they told me! I was able to get Free Dining starting 9/20 thru 9/26. Anybody else told differently? I booked online and confirmed the ressies over the phone.
