I didn't need a code when I booked it. Just asked for free dining. It was no problem.

I think with there being so few of them, they are in high demand anyway. They don't need the help filling those rooms. Just a guess, though

I was on hold for 58min, the CM answered and started making the changes, and she asked me to hold. Rather than put on hold, my call was disconnected

So, I am starting all over

I just added the code to my existing reservation for my family of 6 at POR, my husband and I, and my DS 12, DD 7, DD 4, and DS 15mo, and total savings for our ten day trip is $1400! We were able to get the FD for our length of stay--9/18-9/28!!!! I am on cloud nine!!! We booked the DxDDP as we wanted to include a lot of ADRs for 2TS meals, of which I took care of a few weeks back! I hope everyone else is able to get in where they want because it just made my day and it would be great to share in the happiness!!

got POP Aug 28-Sep 7, 3 rooms preferred. Cranky cm at first, sent me to grand gathering, very nice lady. Got my orig. res. cancelled and new ones. took a while but got it done. FREE DINING!! Party of 9. Here we come.

She just confirmed everything but I just asked for customer service when she asked for another deposit. I told her that I was under the impression I only needed the original $200 deposit on the DV. She said that calls were monitored and since it was a Disney Visa promotion, all ressies needed $200 at the time of adding the free dining.
I'm on hold.. again.

ETA: she just came back and said customer service was in a good mood and that I was all set
Probably a nice way of saying without saying that she was mistaken?

Anyway- we're all set.

Customer service was in a good mood Yeah that's pretty funny. Glad it worked out.

It's not AYG but had no promlems changing over, without the proper code.
Like others they asked for another $200 even though had already paid the deposit with DV. I just paid it.

i wasn't asked for another deposit since the 1st was done w/DV. i guess it all depends on the CM
