Booked and all set, POP, sept. 20-27, no problem with extending, very helpful they still had pref. and standard rooms available.

Good to know at least one value still has both rooms available. *Crossing fingers*

So are they really just adding FD to exsisting reservations, or are they making brand new ones and we just don't know it.

I think it was one of the mods (or a least someone with thousands of posts) that said, on our end it may seem like they're just adding on FD to our original reservation, but on their end, they're actually canceling it and making a whole new one.

Anybody ask them if that's what they are actually doing?

I still have the same reservation number, I even checked the WDW site and pulled it up with my reservation number to make sure that it was updated .

All done! I was the cm's first caller! and it took over half an hour. The cm had to be on hold with guest services to see if she could add free dining to my original res. eventhough the original deposit was not on my disney visa. She found out that all she had to do was take a second deposit of 200 and put that on the disney visa. I changed my resort from POP to AS Music (trying out the refurbished rooms) and we are arriving a day earlier! I'm glad it's over!

I already put $200 dep on DV last week when I booked- why do I have to put another one??

Yes the post times are wrong.

Called rat 6:58 over and over until I got through, on hold 43 minutes now.

I just booked 18-27th and got the free dining!!!!!!! All star music, I already had a room only res. he booked a new one and then cancelled my room only!!! I really didn't think it was going to work (extending) I am sooo excited

I DID use my Disney Visa for my original deposit. She said she has to take another one.. I don't want to do that, though

As long as you're checking in by Sept 20, you should get Free Dining for the whole stay...

The CM I had did not make a big deal about it at all. I actually never mentioned that I knew what the cut off dates were. Just told her I was calling for free dining and gave her my check in date. You will be fine!
