Isn't 2008 the first year to have a deluxe DDP?

The regular & deluxe were offered 9/ 2007 with the bounce back promo for 2008.
The regular was free and the deluxe was also offered at a discount......

i guess i should say he confirmed that they offered free dinning in the past...
this yr, he said right now you could get the delux DDP for free as part of their promotions

Only the regular DDP at some point would be totally free.

I just made our reservations for Sept today! I am so excited I got pretty much everything I wanted but now I am nervous that if I have to upgrade to a moderate for free dining I will loss them all (we are booked at AllStar Music)! They did ask for my reservation number not my phone number. Should I call them back and ask for it to be under my phone number?

You may have to weigh your options if they only offer mod and up for FD...for us (2 adults) at POP it would be $1098 (approx) (preferred room w/ park hopper option for 5 nights...NO or FREE DDP)...$1498 (approx) WITH Paid DDP for value resort...for a mod (standard room w/ park hopper option for 5 nights) it would end up at $1498 (approx) NO or FREE DDP...we are going either way (free or pd DDP) so we will choose to upgrade to a mod if they only offer free dining at mods or up...it will cost us the same either way (value with paid DDP or mod with free DDP), so why not upgrade if you can afford it?

You should be fine...they will not cancel your ADRs if you cancel your package...if you have to move to a mod just simply call them back after you make the change and tell them about the change...they may or may not want to change it on your ADRs.

Your ADR's should not have been attached to your room ressie but your phone number . I would call back and make sure you speak with someone that knows what they are doing and get that corrected.

Nothing is for certain... From what I gather the offer in the UK
was only for Mod and up... But bounce back was for all...
So I haven't seen anything yet... We should know in about two
weeks...

Yep, that's the current rumor. Of course, nothing is official yet, but rumors like this prepare us for the possibility and having a plan B is always a good plan. You'll see lots of rumors before the official dates, mostly because we all hang on to every word we read or hear about free ddp.

You shouldn't. We had free dining in 2006 with a Grand Gathering with 3 rooms, my parents paid for it all too!!!! All the rooms are connected through you GG number.

Last year my DIL had 4 rooms and they would only let her have the discount on 3 rooms. So keep this in mind that you might need to put one of the rooms in someone else's name in case you run into this same situation. She ended up only needing 3 rooms as some of her fosters went home, so their group went from 17 to 12.

I certainly would try to get the discount on all 4, but just wanted to prepare you in case you have the same problem. Ok, thanks so much! We have the same situation, and I was afraid that 4 rooms were too many (for Free FD). Now we can be prepared if faced with that dillemma, and i think we probably will. Thank you!
