Free Dining $200 more?

Hi

Our previous reservation was for two adults and two kids (3 and 8) for one room at AllStar Sports (7 nights, standard room), Dining Package and 7 day tickets . The cost with our 40% room discount was 1919.66.

We called back today to get the free dining package (same package as above with added park hopper) and we paid 2138. The only difference is we added the park hopper package. When I book on the website with the same package and paid dining it's 2370.

How can free dining be only a 228 dollar savings for a family of four?

Any ideas before I call back.

that does sound strange because for our family of 4 staying at all star sports the free dining saved us 671.72 for 9/13-9/20 i would definately call back check it out

You would have saved $672, but you changed your tickets to hoppers.

Without free dining: $2179.08 7 day base ticket, 7 nights value, and dining

Free dining: $1507.36 7 day base and 7 nights value resort

Did you have a standard or preferred room? Also, under the ticket options, water parks and more is automatically checked; wp&m plus hopping adds $400 to the price.

Also, I've seen some folks who are booking say to make sure they are not automatically adding travel insurance (if you don't want travel insurance).

Thanks all.. we just got off the phone with Disney and fixed the price.

It turns out we were overcharged. The new price is 1699.
