Hey and were are all those people that said thier TAs said they were going to be very busy this weekend....what happened there?

they didn't say they were going to be busy with Disney bookings did they?

Let's see:

There has YET to be any information 'leaked' for free dining. Maybe this is because there isn't any free dining TO leak?!?

Disney has said (on more than one occasion) the they want to go back to rack. The Gift Card promo was a pretty decent step in that direction.

CM's have told posters that it's not free dining, people on this thread have had their TA's tell them it's not free dining, yet only because everyone here simply wants it, everyone thinks it's still coming.

Am I the only one who thinks the reason that there hasn't been any leaks is because it's not a very favourable deal and no one wants to be the 'bearer of bad news'?

I really don't get how that is a step in the right direction? Going from free food to free souveniers or food or disney activities? I am starting to believe strongly that it isn't going to be offered either, but why no leaks of whatever is going to be released. I mean true leaks. I don't really trust CRO much.

I prefer to keep the optimism going on the free dining! After all, the UK has been offered free dining for quite some time for the late summer/early fall time period. Right now I am just anxiously awaiting some sort of promotion for after August 15th.....I think it is time and I have been more than patient! Even though my trip is not yet booked, I have had all my dining reservations made since February! and yes, I am another one of those obsessive planners!

Yes, that is what I was thinking.

I can't no longer stand it. My boyfriend said it was obssessed!! He doesn't understand.....September will be his first visit to "the world." I believe that when he leaves....he will have my same obbssesion. Woohoo.......

My $.02 - Free Dining or its equivalent will be offered sometime in April for those traveling in late August, September and October. Bookings are soft from what I’ve heard during the upcoming spring/summer months so I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney makes one last push to close spring/summer business before worrying about Q3/Q4 2010 travelers. This could be the reason behind a delay in announcing any new promotions.

As for Free Dining not being leaked….neither has any other promo. I was told just last week by a CM that Free Dining would most likely be offered but no timeframe was given. This is contradictory to what others have heard. I think something will be offered, just be patient. And if nothing is offered, Disney will have a rude awakening when it comes to Q3/Q4 travel numbers.

Wow....you are quite the pessimist. Though many of us appreciate your candidness....many of us appreciate positiveness until it comes out. Isn't that what Disney is about? Positiveness and imagination.

Even if it doesn't come out. Many are going to benefit from what will be in store. So, there will not be many disappointments from the DIS.

FD or no FD we will be at disney in SEP. I would help our family's overall budget if FD was given & this suspense is killing me....

That, to me, if a sure sign that things are still "too soft" and Free Dining will be offered for the fall. Just not quick enough for the obsessed among us!

Is anybody else concerned that if they do offer the free dining, it will only be the quick service?? I'm hoping for the best but those pins have me concerned. I don't want 7 days of hot dogs and hamburgers!! Please tell me I am worrying for nothing.

Many more options than just hamburgers and hot dogs! I think you could go a whole week without eating either! Lots of good food at the World, no matter what your budget or dining tier.

But really....I want free dining like everyone else! I have my ADR's already made.

I've been waiting to book until a good offer comes along.... like free dining! By the sounds of your posts.... did you book your vacation now, and you can add free dining if that promotion comes up between now and your vacation? I wouldn't think so, so I would be surprised. We are looking to go in December, but I'd like to make my reservation 6 months (and 10 days out) so I can make advanced dining reservations. Am I missing something?
