FREE DIGITAL Mickey Paint Chip Files

Very Cool! :cool1: Thanks!

I'm just starting to flirt with some digital scrapbooking. I've got LOTS to learn.

Question for you . . . is there anyway to change the color of the Mickey Head? I downloaded the file, unzipped it, and I only see a red Mickey head.

Thanks again!!

I don't know. I haven't actually downloaded it myself yet. On my list of things to do today. It was late last night when I found them.

I would image the color can be changed....as long as they are NOT a jpg file. Png files can be changed.

ETA: Just looked. Yup, PNG file. You can do anything you want to it.

I have had these for awhile now, used them on my CRT page and iasw page.

On iasw, the paint chip is the top left one, the others were scanned in stickers. I haven't recolored the chip, but that's very simple to do. I did remove all the background and just kept the Mickey shape, which is what I used on both LOs.

To remove the background in PSPX, click the magic wand on the Mickey, then go to Selections > Invert and then tap the delete key and it's gone. Simple stuff! I recolor tons of things, just never wanted to recolor this, after deleting the background, in PSPX, you would go to Adjust > Hue/Saturation > Colorize and then mess with the color option sliders to find something you like. It's extremely simple to do.

Just a note on the download, you only get the red Mickey chip and the blue double chip, the rest were colored and not included I guess.

Oh excellent idea! I've had a thought for a while of doing mickey icon flags, but the thought of cutting them out was daunting. Yes, this would be easier!

Marvelous!!!! And, Fran, please know that I am SOOOOO going to copy your Small World layout. Too cute for words!

Thanks. :) The grid was a freebie at www.digitalscrapbookplace.com if you want to get it for yourself.

Thanks. I found a grid kit under "overlays" on that site in the freebies. But it only has 8.5x11 or 8x10 - from 12/10/06. Yours appears to be 12x12. Is that the grid you used & changed it a bit....or was there another one?

Mine is 12x12 and I looked for it earlier and couldn't find the direct link, so maybe they removed it or something. Most of their templates are usually in the page kit area. I did verify that my file did come from there, so not sure what exactly happened with it. It was called Grid Quick Click and it was made by Lauren Bavin, who is the head designer at DSP. Hopefully that will help you find it, it sure didn't help me find it! :lmao:
