Free DDP for part of your stay?

We are off to WDW 31st March - 11th April next year. There is free DDP from the 8th April. Would they give us free dining for part of our stay?
Anyone know where to call in the UK to find out? We booked via the BA website.

I don't think so sadly. Free dining actually starts on the 7th April. We are on a cruise from 31st march - 6th April and have booked Saratoga Springs for 6 nights with free dining from the 7th - 13th April but are staying elsewhere for the one night of the 6th April

You have booked a package with BA?
A package is more difficult to do something like that. Booking DIY you could do seperate bookings, one for 31st March-8th Apr then another from 8th-11th Apr to get free Dining. Downside is you would then not be able to get you tickets for your whole holiday. Disney say you can't have them before your free DDP dates, in reality some have maanged to get them upto 3 days before free DDP starts. Even then you would only have your Disney tickets for 6 days.

We are there almost the same dates as you, fly out on 29th March, I did a new 'dummy' booking with a split stay to try and take advantage of the free dinning but as the prices have gone up loads since I booked it ended up costing far more (about £1000) with free dining for a week than paying for the dining plan. If you have booked recently since the prices went up it will be worth speaking to your travel agent xx
