I have just received an e mail from Charter Travel to say that Disney are releasing their 2012 prices on Saturday 2nd April 2011:cool1:

Many thanks for the welcome, have been waiting for these prices for ages as I'm planning this as a suprise for my wifes 40th Birthday

Thats funny - I phoned them yesterday, and they told me that they didn't know exactly when they would have them.:confused3 They were happy to take my number to give me a call when they would know, but I just said I would call back!!
I guess it depends who answers the phone!!

Claire :)

I book with a lad called Sean all the time and he is very reliable, if your looking for a good contact, he emailed me this morning to let me know they were going on sale on Saturday. Hope this helps.:dance3:

Just had a quote from Complete Orlando:

17th August 2012 for 14 nts 2ads and 2 kids aged 13 and 8

Studio £2550

1 Bed Apt £3137

Both prices include 14 day ultimate tickets and Disney Dining Plan and is pretty much what we paid last year.

Realllllyyyy wish I could persuade the boyfriend to go back next year! It's not that he doesn't want to go back, he does, but says we need to concentrate on moving into our own place first :( But I got a sneaky quote from Complete Orlando and if it was up to me I'd be booking!

7 nights in May at CSR/POR - £707
7 nights in May at SSR/OKW - £819

7 nights in October at CSR/POR - £679
7 nights in October at SSR/OKW - £777

7 day Premium's = £239 each
(We would be doing another split-stay, 7 nights Disney, 7 nights Universal so that's why)

:sad1:

I'm confused :confused3

I too have just received a quote for CO for next August.

21 nights @ SSR in a 2 Bed Villa for family of 6 £4652.00 plus tickets.

My costs for this coming October for the same villa is £5460.00, thats a saving next year of £808.00.

Are the prices seriously coming down for 2012 ??

Could it be down to the better exchange rate?

I was suprised at the quote I got - 2012 was same price as 2010.

I was told that Disney has changed Oct to low season - hence the lower price.

Just rang and got some prices:

2 adults 1 infant in October

Port Orleans with QSDP £1836

Saratoga or OKW with full DP £2032

Now I'm more confused than ever, are OKW and Saratoga worth the extra? We weren't overly bothered about the full dining plan.

Otherwise I'm happy with the cost but worried about flights as I have no idea what they could be from Manchester.

To me worth every penny more, POR is nice but I far prefer OKW, although I prefer POR to SSR. I also think the better DDP is worth the extra, there is no way I could eat QSDDP for 2 week.
Others prefer POR & QSDDP so you will probably get views on both sides.

This is my worry too.Been tracking Manchester prices for a year now, and they are up and down like a yo-yo, anything from £650 right up to and beyond£1000. Now the free dining has come into play:worship: we will definatley be going next year with looking to pay a maximum of £2500 in total for flights. We would prefer to fly Virgin but will explore all other options, including indirect flights.

Thanks Wayne, definitely keen on SSR or OKW I just have to convince the wife that we should be able to get flights for £600-700 each now!

The only reason we considered QSDP so was that we didnt have to plan our meals as militant.

It is restrictive but we have enjoyed it both times we have done it and looking forward to it again this year. It all depends where you want to eat, yes the popular ones have to be planned months in advance usually but others can be left or changed, we changed 3 last August while we were there for better times to suit our plans we also cancelled Wave and booked another meal at Teppan Edo we enjoyed it so much. Never had a problem getting into Boma or Trails End without a reservation, I am sure there are others easy to get.

Manchester flights were ok pricewise for this October. I booked on the dates prices were released (11 months from return date).

I booked with US airways via philadelphia for £1540 for 2 adults and 1 child, decent flight times. Think continental were same price.

On the release date Virgin atlantic wanted £2500 for the same dates direct.

Good point Wayne, we loved Teppan Edo and Boma as well. Also we walked up to Planet Hollywood and wolfgang puck and got tables and enjoyed them both as well.

The price for virgin flights scares me but maybe we'll have to look at indirect but that sounds like a hastle.

I've got flights for next Oct - 2 adults, 3 children for £2800 with Virgin MAN-MCO. We are going on 29th Oct.

How does the price differ between adults and children? Trying to work out roughly what 2 adults plus an infant would be
