Hi there and sorry if this is already answered. I got my AP't today from the lovely and helpful alice from CEM. The free child pass we received has my sirname on it and the child we were giving it to (my nephew) does not share the same name - also they are not traveling at the same time as us to DLP. Will he still be able to use it or will the different name be a problem?:confused3

Thanks to anyone that can help

No and yes

The childs pass has to be done at the same time normally as the adults so that would have already been a pb. The fact that it isn't his surname on it and therefore would not match his id card/passport is a 2nd pb.

I did hear informally that APs would start becoming nominative to stop selling them at a higher cost especially the free childs one which normally says that it has 0€ valeur and therefore is illegal to sell.

Your best bet is to explain the situation at the AP office when you go and if they tell you that it's ok get it in writting so that when your nephew goes they don't get another CM that says no not possible :goodvibes

Thanks for the info :)

just to clarify - I assume you mean its illegal to "sell-on" child pass and not that it is illegal what CEM are doing? dont want to get my brother in law into trouble for even having it! - would be a great start to their holiday!:rotfl2:
will do what you suggest - nothing ventured nothing gained and I am super happy to have my dream AP back whatever happens :-D

:rotfl:Illegal for someone to resell a free gift - not illegal for CEM to give them free.

They get them like that from Disney directly for this purpose.

Any ticket or voucher that has a face value of 0€ can't be sold but it can be given for free

So you/he can go without fear :goodvibes

Hi, sorry to go a bit o/t but where on the ap is your surname? Our AP's from cem arrived today (yay) but my name isn't on any of them. Just wonder if this will be a problem when we go to exchange them. Thanks.

we had annual passes from ce last year no name on but had no probs, just got another annual pass from ce for a friend who is coming with us in april no name on that eithe so i dont think its a problem

Thanks Stargatebarbie. I don't think I'll stop worrying about these tickets until I transfer them into the permanent AP's! They just seem to be too good to be true! Thanks.

i know they do:thumbsup2 i was like you i mean we had been paying £125 for a 4 day pass:scared1:last year we paid 119 euros (which then was around £98) for a annual pass that got us discounts and in the park early amazing :worship:and i worried till i had the real passes in my hand as well :wizard:

Oh oh! I bought one yesterday for myself and the free one is for my niece who is going with me but has a different surname.

That's different as you are all going at the same time and getting your AP's together.

Complications arise when they are all going separatly.

Plus I checked with some people today and they find in strange that the AP has a name on it as the printed out "tickets" normally don't. It's only the etickets that do :confused3

Thanks Carrie- should be fine!
Yes my e tickets all have my name on them LOL!!! All 19 of them.
