free child annual pass??

I'm sure ce multiadvantages were doing a free child ap with every adult one bought? i might be talking rubbish.....but if this is right, is this something they do on a regular basis? im wanting to book for march but I really want to stay at the explorers rather than a disney hotel so wondered if it was cheaper buying ap's rather than booking with disney
