Are they pins or stickers?
Do you get them at MK or do all of the parks have them?
Do they have them for other occasions? Anniversary? Retirement?
TIA

the only places I have gotten them are MK (the first time diser, Engagement, aniversary) but I also got 1 at my resort (CBR). Someone else probably has a more detailed response but I know I got mine in MK and Resort.

In 06 we were at WDW for my DD's 3rd Bday. After reading a suggestion on this board, we stopped in at Guest Services and told them it was her birthday. I am looking at the picture right now and it is a big white button with the castle on the front. In front of it are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy and across the top it says, "Today is my Birthday!"

It was totally free of charge and it absolutely made her day! Every CM we came across wished her a Happy Birthday, the characters paid her special attention, and some of them even got the crowd around her to sing.

She absolutely FLOATED around the park.

I got my bithday one on the cruise but my son got his when we checked in at the resort. I have seen Anniversary one also...

The birthday button can be obtained at the Guest Services office at each park. The CM will write in Sharpie marker the birthday person's name.

You will get a lot of well wishes from CM's throughout the day when it is worn. And a lot of visitors will also wish a Happy Birhtday.

So don't miss the opportunity.

Okl, this would be to funny! :rotfl2: My son will be turning 18 on our next trip this July. I am going to get him a pin and present it to him....telling him he has to wear it. OMG...I can't wait!!!:woohoo:

I got one for my mom and her friend a few weeks ago when we checked into pop. The CM drew a little mickey head next to their names which was very cute. OMG, so many people said happy birthday, it was crazy. People were singing happy birthday to them on the buses, in bathrooms, and in lines for rides. By the end of the trip instead of saying thank you when someone said happy birthday, my mom's friend kept saying happy birthday back.

Definitely worth it to get a pin (for any age) and wear it your whole trip... no matter when their birthday is! Don't worry... no one asks for you're ID.

Has anyone ever seen a Retirment Pin?
Am I right to assume I can buy one?

The only pins they have are 1st Visit, Anniversary, and Birthday and they are free.

You can get them at any Guest Services desks at the parks, or at the front desk of the resorts.

Yes, you can get them at any park! I just know of the birthday, just married, and generic 'congratulations' pins.

I got my button when we checked in at the resort. I wore it for 2 days-my actual birthday and the day after since that was our first park day-and just about every CM said happy birthday to me. I loved it-even at 41!
