Hey... what happened? I posted "free beer" a month back and offered to buy some folks a beer. I even wore a lime green Mickey that said "free beer"! (DW was mortified) Only one person said something, a guy asked where I got the LGM! Oh well, I drank alone (not the first time!). Here's where I drank;

EPCOT
LeCellier... Moosehead Pale Ale: OK, little taste
France... Kronenberg: YUK, threw it out!
American Pavilion... Samuel Admas, never a disappointment:thumbsup2

Animal Kingdom
Tusker House... Bass Ale, my personal favorite:woohoo:
Rain Forest Cafe... Bass Ale
Pizzafari... Safari Ale (didn't have Bass!)

Magic Kingdom
You're kidding right!:rotfl2:

Resorts:
CSR... Dos Equis Amber w/lime (skip the lager)
AKL... Safari Pale Ale, nice flavor
WL... Sierra Nevada Pale Ale & Guinness, not together though
BW (Big River Brew Pub)... EVERYTHING!! Had the "flight" and was blown away by the selection! Loved the IPA! Wish I could get it here in NJ
DTD (Raglan Road) Bass Ale, when it's on tap, I drink it!!;) When it's not I drink it:lmao:

Had a blast, can't wait to start again...........:drinking1

Too bad, I'm always on the look out for a drinking partner at Epcot. Mainly because it makes me feel less awkward to know I'm not the only person in the park who has all ready started drinking before lunch.

Forgot to mention; I was there from 4/4 - 4/11. Any one see "free beer" guy?

Well I would gladly have had a brew with you, but you went to WDW a month before me. Your Bass tap comment is very funny.:thumbsup2

Well, if you are there Sept 7 through the 15th my DH would probably follow you all over the World as long as you were buying beer! Just make sure you have him back at our resort in time to check out!

I love it- a beer trip report!! Two questions #1 So you think the BRG is worth a trip for a brew-pub loving couple? #2 What's the Safari Amber like and #3 Did WL have Sierra Nevada on tap? #4 Did you know drinking lots of beer enhances the brain?

Hey it's always after lunch somewhere....

We also enjoy Tusker at AKL and the Dawa Bar at AK.

Epcot drinking tip: When consuming alcohol in Epcot, you needn't wait until lunch, or 5pm. Just adjust your watch to the time in the country whose pavilion you are visiting. Europe and Asia are at least 5+ hours LATER than Florida. This is not effective in Canada or Mexico, but I believe local custom permits the consumption of beer during waking hours.:)

You only need to adjust your watch to Newfoundland time -- it's always drinking time in Newfoundland.

One of my colleagues recently visited Portugal. He enjoyed visiting an English pub in the Faro region -- a pint of beer cost €1 during Happy Hour. Happy Hour ran from 9am to 6pm.

For me, this fact alone suggests that the next nation in World Showcase needs to be Portugal.

Hey, you forgot to hit our favorite WS spot - Sommerfest for a Spaten Optimator or a Franziskaner!

WDW still needs a serious beer choice upgrade. They are really way behind the current trend towards craft beer.

I would have been your drinking partner! I LOVE to drink around the world....but dude...I can't believe you THREW OUT beer!!!

I have met many a nasty beer indeed, but never one I wouldn't drink!:lmao:

Well if I would have seen your post before we left for our trip me and my husband would have been interested in drinking with you. :woohoo:

Can't pass up a good beer. When were you there? We were there 3/11-3/17.

Funny you should say that we just got back from Dominican Republic, and the only ones who were drunk pretty much all the time were the people from Ontario. They kept telling us (while spilling beer in the pool as they were unable to keep there glasses steady), how Newfoundlanders are always drunk. :confused3

I'm with the OP on the Kroeningburg (SP? who cares? It doesn't deserve to be spelled correctly). I threw mine out as well. Believe it or not, the French do actually make good beer and it's really similar to the Belgium beers.

I didn't know WL had Sierra Nevada, that's definitely on my list of drinkable beers.

I think Disney just doesn't care enough to market to the beer snobs/disney fans. The standard stuff (bud, bud light, coors, etc. ad nauseum) is what really sells I suppose.

We would have drank with you. To bad we won't be there until next month. I like beer. :lmao: Terri

I (female - late 30s) was at CSR 4/3 - 4/8 and was drinking Dos Equis Amber w/lime along with shots of Petrone a couple of evenings by the Dig Site pool. I don't recall a Free Beer guy. I would have remembered that!! I recall a few people by the pool bar really having a "great time"...which is where I got the idea for shots of Petrone.

Good memories :) Sorry I missed you!! I did enjoy the $4 wine by the glass at the various sampling stations in Epcot!
