I slightly changed my dates again-- I promise this is the last time!!! We were scheduled from May 3rd-10th, we are now going from May 2nd-9th instead (cheaper flights). I think this may work out better b/c I know the swapper before me is leaving on the 2nd-- maybe we can do a face to face swap! Once you guys confirm that my new dats are ok, I'll PM the swapper before me and let her know! Thanks so much for organizing this! --Katie
Ok swappers, we have a dilemma. A couple of the last few swappers have told me that Nemo is acting up and freezing everything in him. So I contacted the manufacturer and they are willing to replace Nemo for just $15 (S&H) cost but that would mean Nemo would be out of the swap for probably a week or so. We have to cut the cord and send it to manufacturer in order to get replacement not the whole fridge. We do have the Feb 6th-14th slot open so we could do it then but I am not sure if replacement would be there in time for AUTIGER86 to get on 14th.
I just had my turn with Nemo and he did freeze everything even on setting 1. We ended throwing most of our food away because it got frozen. (apples, grapes, milk) I think it would be best to send in the cord as soon as you can. However, I did let the Nemo sit for 2 days and let it completely defrost so maybe the problem will be solved.

I would like to get it exchanged ASAP but I know that people count on Nemo too. But if it isn't working right, what is the point of having it. Nemo was in LS for several days before you got him so I would guess that he was defrosted by then but still not working so we should replace him ASAP.
Suzanne and I will be discussing later today and contacting swappers up next and make a decision ASAP. I will keep you guys updated.
