I used the schedules posted on Tour Guide Mike from last year to base this years and it worked out.

He decided he wanted to try the boats in 7 seas lagoon instead so it worked out.

thanks, alot of speculation on reasons but nothing in writing from Disney yet. Supposedly they had a new celebration to announce but nothing yet. Plus Super Soap weekend got moved at last minute which caused problems.

How about what rooms have you all stayed in? Was it preffered? We stayed in the 70's building in room 433 and we just loved it. I am trying to decide if I should request something different this time, or if I should stick with what we know, lol.

This is our first time at POP. I am very curious to see everyone else's answers.

We stayed in the 80's Roger Rabbit building by the computer pool, Fourth floor.
It was fine. We had an extra value room.
We went during free dining last year. But, I didn't know about it.
I booked in July to go to the Playhouse Disney Live on Tour.
It wasn't that far to walk. We cut through the parking lot to
get to the buses. I don't think there are any bad rooms at POP.
This year I requested a 1st floor lakeside 60's building.
We like to go for walks around the lake at night so the kids fall asleep.
Thought it would be easier on the first floor with the little one's.

That's what we have too. The lake path is wonderful. We saw lots of Bunnies
and ducks and other birds. The kids loved it. It was a great way to unwind
and just relax a little.

We stayed in the 60's preferred area, 43-44 rooms (I think) on the 2nd flr (yo-yo stairs) It was nice and quite and we had view of courtyard area. We are staying the preferred again this Nov/Dec since MIL/FIL and my mom are going and we figured it would be easier for them to not have to walk so far to the buses and food court (they are all in mid-late 60's). I requested connecting rooms again since DS is staying in my mom's room. I think we are going to try for preferred area in 50's bld (bowling pin stairs and pool) so kids have choice of pools plus close to laundry and buses. I told them anything but pool side rooms (powerwashers at 7am aren't my idea of a good alarm clock) with 1st flr for mil/fil and 2nd flr for us. Close but not too close if you know what I mean.

We always request 1st floor now. It is so much easier when you have a stroller. We also request a pool view so that our DD11 can keep swimming while the rest of us get showered and changed.
