Free APs for under 7s

Thanks Cyrano:thanks: This is a great site and I am glad I have found it, I don't know who is more excited about returning to DLP me or the kids!

I have checked with 365 tickets and I can return them but will only get 80% of my money back and only when they receive them, not sure if it is worth the hassle.
Keep up the good work :disrocks: I will be back.

We were at Disneyland Paris last week and got the offer of free passports for under sevens but we did have to ask for it - they don't publicise the offer and we got the impression they wouldn't have offered it if we didn't ask for it!

Also, they refunded the one day passes for the adults but not the children, so we ended up paying £24 for each child - still a lot less though! And getting 10% off everywhere was great! Nearly made up for it being SO busy!

Myself, husband and son (aged 4) are going on 12th May and were hoping to get dream annual passes. We were hoping to avail of the free annual pass for our son - I planned on buying 3 day tickets at gate and would then get the value of them taken off the two AP's we'd be buying.

after reading fruitloops experience - is there anyway around not having to pay to get him into the park in order to get his free AP????

also on reading the T&C's for the offer it does state 'offer available upon request' !!!!

We were told we should have asked at the main gate for the offer, but I'd bought day passes to avoid having to queue for tickets when we arrived - except there was no queue for tickets so we could have got them completely free!

I would say - ask when you get to the main gate and you should get the offer without having to pay anything for the child passport.

I will definitely get a Fantasy Passport for myself and my 5 year old daughter. Would they be likely to give Nicholas who will be 2 1/2 a free Passport if I bought an AP for my wife. He wouldn't really need it now but it would make another trip next year cheaper. They would want to encourage us to return, wouldn't they?

Would the Francilian Passport be a better alternative for the other adults in our party (total of 4-6 of us) rather than additional 3 day passes (they appear to be just 89 Euros, and someone posted than anyone [presumably anyone in the EU] can buy them. It would be handy if we didn't have to go on 3 consecutive days and 3-7 Sept doesn't contain any restricted days. Does sponsorship also apply to Francilian Passports? Could someone with a Fantasy or Dream Passport still sponsor us? (I think there are a lot more Dream and Fantasy Passport holders on this board)

From what I understand you cant use the Francilien on 2nd or 3rd days after buying.

No your DS will not get a passport as entry for under threes is free. Just gives you a reason to return before the 15th year promotion finishes :goodvibes

I checked the offer and it looks like the free passport aplies to any annual passport, not just Dream. I would be grateful if someone would confirm this.

So it looks like the plan is this:
Monday, dump suitcases and hit Disneyland
Tuesday, I get to guide everyone around Paris
Wednesday, I get to guide everyone around Paris and we can all look for anyone we lost on Tuesday!
Thursday, back to Disneyland
Friday, back to Disneyland and try to round everyone up so we can catch either the shuttle (OK, not THE shuttle, just a shuttle) and get to the airport. Rounding up the kids is OK, the oldies will be the problem.

As most people want 2 days in Paris anyway, the Francilian Passport seems to fit the bill. Is there any rule against them giving the free passport to an under 3? As far as my French goes. it looks like it says under 7s. Nicholas is under 7 with lots to spare. Should I just hope that the Passport Office is benevolent on the day? Will I really be able to get in by showing the AP slips at the main gate and saying we will get a free AP for Rebecca? If so where would I go to do this?

As already stated you will not get a passport. Under 3's do not require a ticket since you do not pay for them. DD was only eligible to get a annual passport after her 3rd birthday :)

I know this offer was supposed to be on until 30th September, but it has disappeared from the website. Is it still running? We are not there until September and had counted on getting a free pass for my son.
Fingers crossed.
(I did print out the page when I saw it - mainly for translation support, but I'll keep hold of it!)

Cool, I'll bookmark it. The link from within the site has gone, though the page is still there...I certainly cannot find it by navigating through the french site like I did last time.
Thanks for that, I'll print out another copy just in case, as mine has translation notes on it - found the offer by accident before I found this site with all the helpful people on it!

Do you have to be in DLP to get the passes? can you not get them on-line or over the phone?. We want to go over xmas, but the buy one get one free offer will have finished by then.

Does the whole family need to be there at the AP office to get the passes? (wondering if it is worth going all that way just to get our passes which we can then use at Xmas).

Hi, afraid you can't get them any other way than presenting yourself at the office. But if it's going to cost you to get there, it may not be worthwhile. You'll have to weigh up the costs against the savings I suppose.

Hi Folks, Just to let you know that I went to DLP last week and got the two adults and two free under sevens Annual Passport Fantasy passes for 258 euros just ask at the main ticket booths before you go in mention the free offer, then you don't have to have any day passes. Though I would post this to let you know how easy it is. Take your passports for the bureau part inside the park where they take your photos and check the family bit. Bit slow in there think we had a trainee!

Great site as I wouldn't have know about this offer otherwise, cheers:yay:

thanks for the info re free passports going in 9 days ready and armed with all this info and printout of the offer hopefully will not have to pay for the day passes for the kids doing it this way

If you don't but them at the gate they don't refund the price of the day pass as far as I know.
