Free AP for new sign-on's??

Okay, we couldn't resist the temptation and put $500 deposit to buy 150 points into SSR directly with Disney last week during our trip to WDW. I don't regret the purchase, but I read it somewhere that they are giving out free AP to new buyer if from California (and yes, we are in CA). Is this a promotion for all Californians or more on a case-to-case basis? We are still waiting for the paperwork to be FedEx'ed over (no, we haven't actually signed the contract yet). Should we ask for it? Thank you for your input in advance.

I think the AP incentive is available for purchases made while visiting DL. I don't think it matters where you live, only where you make the purchase. It is not available for purchases made while at WDW.

It might be worth a call to your guide to see they can "transfer" that incentive to you, but don't be surprised if it's not available since you have already taken the tour and have a FL guide.
