Fred, Wilma and Family do Disney - Day 8

What a lovely report Joh. I am staying at the Wilderness Lodge in December and I will definately ask about the flag thing. Your photo's have made me all excited, I can't wait to see the Lodge.

Hi Joh, we have just caught up on your reports, We found ourselves nodding away in agreement with you on so many things, Like the mime at Seaworld, he is better than the show.:thumbsup2

Joh, you write the best reports. Of course, I suppose it helps when you pack the day with such interesting things!

You have the Wilderness Lodge bug, my friend, and you can expect to have it for life. I enjoyed staying with the Stringers and Churchills at the Boardwalk Villas, but it wouldn't have felt quite right if I hadn't managed a few days at WL that trip, too. I am sooooooo happy you got to be a Flag Family, actually managing to be a little more happy for you than jealous of you as I look at the wonderful photos. We did think about Flag Family for the trip last summer, Tammy, but it didn't seem to fit into either our morning or evening plans (there's a family to take down the flags at the end of each day, too.)

Also enjoyed seeing the Old Key West photos, the first I've ever seen of OKW accomodations.

Hooray for you, getting pictures of your entire group. We all should do that more often.

One other thing--about borrowing Daniel for a WDW trip sometime: Please, tell him that if he'll come with me, we will definitely stay at the Wilderness Lodge!

Just passed on the message Susan - he wants to know 'When???' :rotfl:

What a magical day, Joh. Being the Flag Family sounds so special and I would love to do one of the cruises. The villa looks lovely. Looking forward to reading more.

Matt and I had been speculating over what could have been the "surpassing" moment. Our best guess was an upgrade at OKW. You must have felt so privileged to be the flag family - there aren't many things you can experience at WDW in total isolation. It's got to have been worth it, for the views alone.

Total 100% Disney magic!!! More great photos and an unforgettable experience... :worship: :worship: :worship:
