Where are you located? Just a general idea is good if you don't feel comfortable giving out your actual address to total strangers.:lmao: I'm in Bath County between Mt. Sterling and Morehead( Heh, heh....she said "Morehead":rotfl2: ).

HRH-do you have to get a package through Universal to get the front of the line deal, or just have to stay on site?:confused3

My stepson went to Morehead for a couple of years. I ditched my "Morehead Mom" shirt for a pullover that just says Morehead State. I giggle everytime I put it on.:lmao: Some things will never change I think.:rotfl2:

Hey freaps...

Where has Susan and IAHD been???

Maybe Susan is spending time with her son??

I hope IAHD is still "with us":rolleyes1

I also wonder.
I think you are right about Susan spending time with her son.
Not sure about IAHD.But Madd if I do think she is still with us:rolleyes1

I'm still around, things have been a little hectic but I've been lurking here and there while at work :rolleyes1 I've also kind of been staying away a little bit because of everything going on. I don't agree with everything that is happening and I've seen alot of stuff going down that I find disturbing and I am trying to sort things out in my mind. I have "lost" several friends in this whole garbage flying around :guilty: I am trying to be adult about it and not just sound off while others have acted before thinking things through, but sometimes that can be hard.

I bet your ears where ringing.:rotfl2: :lmao:
We miss you.
But I know what you mean. It is hard losing friends.

On a lighter note....

This is how I spent my weekend....we purchased a "big girl" bed for dd6 and spent all day Saturday doing her room - complete cleaning job - emptied the room, moved her rug, went through her clothes, toybox, dress up chest, etc. It's the cleanest room in the house :rotfl:

What a cute room:goodvibes

pperfectmom, you do not have to purchase a package to get FOTL passes at US/IOA. You just have to stay at one of their three rather pricey resorts. We stayed at the Hard Rock last year, which was really cool. It is the middle priced one, we got a GA resident discount and the room (obstructed view of the roof:laughing: ) was about $180 if I remember correctly. The Royal Pacific, very nice is a little cheaper, this year with a AAA discount-$139weekday, $169 weekend. This is Value season on the RP, I think we went to the HRH in regular season. It's expensive, but if you would be willing to pay about $15-20 per person not to stand in line all day, I think it's worth it. That's how I rationalized it. it's about $40-80 more than I would like to pay for a hotel room. I wish WDW would come up with something like that. Except it would be way too expensive for me, and it would just make the stand by lines even longer for me...

nice room IAHD..could you come over and do my boys room? Skip the decorating, I just need a thorough cleaning like you did!

The bed is nice- love the dark wood! Hopefully she loves it too!

Since I worked there for years and see it all the time, I have kind of lost my humor over it but it still pops up on occasion(like when I typed it earlier:rotfl2: ).

IAHD-love the new room. DD has a big girl bed but poor DS is still in his toddler bed and he is a huge boy.:sad2: We have an antique twin but need to get a new mattress/box spring for it and we all know how little $$$ there is to go around these days.

We had DD's 5th b-day party this past weekend and I made the crown cake from the Family Fun magazine. I'm not too good at the decorating part but here it is:

What a marvelous cake!!!! What kind of cookies are used on the outside?

They are just sugar cookies. I had to make a template out of cardboard and cut them by hand. That's why they aren't all exactly the same. Not that anyone could possibly notice that....:rolleyes1

Marna- the cake looks great- I like that idea!

......:headache: now I have a craving for cookies!:headache:

The cake is cute.
Now when John just asked what I wanted to eat tonight I told him cake:rotfl2:

I have a few minutes to sit down and catch up on the Budget board....I love all the pictures on this thread....people, bedrooms, cakes...oh, yeah, and I stole a smilie! :rotfl:

I am working this week and the days have been long! sigh

I see where HRH went to USO....we stayed onsite in 2006 and LOVED it! There is so much blacktop at USO...it reflects that heat back up at you...spending a day there is exhausting and hot. It was so nice to be so close by and to go rest and cool off. :thumbsup2

We have contracted with our DS's girlfriend to paint our house....are we nuts!?? She is in college and her family is in construction. In high school, she would spend her summers working with her dad...building and painting. DH wanted to pay someone who really needed the money and would do a decent job....and a college student is just as good as any (we hope). DS is helping her so they get to spend some time together. She started scraping the house earlier this week when it was almost 90 outside. It has now been raining for the last 2 days...this could be a loooong process!

I want summer....I want it to get w-a-r-m! :cool2:

Hi bnf-
thyaysmiles.gif
we got a new freap over here!!

Sit a spell!

Well thanks! Love your little smiley stick guys!

I'm in northern Kentucky- Florence actually- just south of Cincinnati. Was in school at EKU (the first round of college :rolleyes1 ) so I'm a bit familiar with that part of KY. Went to Morehead once back in the 80s to see Chicago in concert (the original ones)

My twins are finishing 2nd grade this Friday- geeezzz... where does the time go!!! Big 2nd grade picnic tomorrow then one more day at work until I start my "part-time part-time" hours. Wishin' we were planning another trip to the world, but we just went in December... so camping and boating it is for us--- well, maybe not with gas prices like they are :scared1:

Anyway, Looking forward to getting to "know" everyone! Love the 'big girl bed' and that princess cake is too cute!
