Good Morning Freaps,

It's a beautiful day here in sunny Medford...(but it's going to rain later -blah). I just posted my newest blog entry with a pic of Lacy - feel free to check it out.

Have a great sunday

Rhonda

Rhonda, Lacy looks so happy!!!!

Me and the boys had our yard sale today! They made $140 for their souvies at WDW next month. I am officially tired and sore. Have to say, this is the first year we have only did the yard sale Saturday only, but we did much better than when we split it over 2 days. There were more people out looking for deals. :thumbsup2

We did some yardsaling yesterday! It was a community yard sale, which I love, b/c it is "one stop shopping" :thumbsup2

Got some goodies!:cool1:

.....so.....would that be the drunken "the dingo ate your baby"? Or, the ewwww ugly friends' baby...."come look at the baby...come look at the baby"....??? :rotfl2:

:lmao: I always say that- "we gotta go see THE BAAAAABY":rotfl2:

Glad everyone had a decent weekend. I had to work Saturday but Sunday was nice. We had a little birthday party for DD and grilled out and had a general good time. Some of her cousins couldn't make it because of ball games so we are meeting them at Chuck E. Cheese tonight.:scared: It shouldn't be too bad on a week night when school is still in session, should it?:confused3

Hi madd..I learned something interesting today...thought about you! I was wondering if you knew the origin of your name?

Do you mean my Maddhatir???

I know it means "mad as a hatter" b/c of the mercury getting into the hat maker's system.......

Is that what you heard?;)

Hey all. I just got the most interesting phone call. The caller id said US Govt. so, of course I didn't answer.:lmao: I was afraid to.:scared1: Anyway, I don't know if you all saw the thread about contacting your Congressman/woman about passes to Kennedy Space Center. I did it(even though any trip is in the distant future:sad2: ) just to see what would happen. Well, the lady left a message saying they were working on getting us passes and needed to know when/how many to send?:confused3 So, although that is great:banana: , I don't know what to tell her. I really want to go next May for DD's b-day, mine and DH's anniversary and do the P & PP. So, should I be totally optimistic and call her back with that date range?:confused3 I guess that's what I'll do and that can be extra fodder to use on DH when the time comes. "We already have FREE passes to KSC. We wouldn't want to lose that, would we dear?":rotfl2: So, if anyone was on the fence about doing this, go for it. Heck, getting admission for one day would cost us over $100 so this is a big deal. And I love Kennedy Space Center but haven't been since 1998.:sad1:

Hello  Big lurker here with question. I thought I should ask it here instead of on the "Freebie Thread".

I signed up for the Sunkist Lemonade Stand last year; didn't get it. Signed up again this year and am now wondering how it comes 'cause I missed the FedEx guy Saturday morning. We were having a lazy, fun, doughnut morning and were still in our PJs at 10 :thumbsup2 I refuse to go to the door in my PJs and crazy hair! (DH had just left to run an errand).

Anyway, I used the door tag tracking # to see what the pkg was --- can't remember ordering anything! Couldn't find what it was, but it weighs 6.3 pounds... sound like a lemonade stand to you guys?

Thanks!

Could very possibly be the stand. It comes in a big a** box :thumbsup2 .

Well, honey you KNOW I did! AND I wrote them a "sickness" excuse this morning to take in. Do you want to guess how many times I was notified by the school district that my 10 year old was absent from school on Friday? TWICE by phone and once by email. DS8 only got one phone call and an email ..:confused3 My God, people, please worry about the middle schoolers/high schoolers I see running around the streets all day during the week...please, they kinda scare me...:rotfl:

Anywho...that is another thead.. We had a good time, but plagued by the whining and fighting that comes with my baggage known as DS10 and DS8. For the most part we were fine, occasional fights over who got to be first in line last time... etc. We split up towards the end to give them a break from each other. We did both parks pretty much til exhaustion- did almost everything. Skipped Jaws and Terminator, BTDT. We rode the Men In black over and over total about 6 times. Rode the new Simpsons ride about 6 times, too. (Front of the line passes are so nice, the wait for the Simpsons got up to 90 minutes..) At IOA, skipped a few that the boys didn't want to do, and we didn't feel like. Two days and then a couple of hours on Sunday was plenty! We came back to the pool and swam a little then left. (I made DH find the Dooney and Bourke Outlet for me to get a new purse..what a great mall I wish we had more time to see it all.)

We stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort which was nice. Not as cool as the Hard Rock Hotel, but saved us about $200.

It ain't Disney, but it's a fun weekend!

HRH-sounds like you had a blast(except for the squabbling-but you would have had that at home anyway:rotfl2: ). I definately want to do Universal for part of a trip once they get the Harry Potterland(or whatever it will be called) built. Maybe by then the kids will be big enough for some of the "good" rides.:confused3 The last time I went to US was the same year we went to KSC-1998. I'm pretty sure they were still working on IOA then. It's nice that you are close enough to head down for a weekend.

Welcome bnf2!!!!:welcome:

Welcome bnf2!!!!:welcome:

Thanks! I see you are from the Bluegrass state as well! I check in about every week or so to see what's going on so I feel like I kinda know everyone... even though I never post here

At first I felt like I was "butting in" by asking my lemonade stand question out of the blue... but I knew how kind all you 'freaps' were so I waded right in!!

By the way... missed the FedEx guy again today :headache:

Definitely book an on site hotel for those days. It is so worth the extra money to get those front of the line passes. we went there one day on our way home from WDW with our APs, on a Sunday just for a few hours. Not even a busy time, but standing in line just plain sucked. They let everyone who has a FOTL pass in first, so the stand by line never moves...

Where are you located? Just a general idea is good if you don't feel comfortable giving out your actual address to total strangers.:lmao: I'm in Bath County between Mt. Sterling and Morehead( Heh, heh....she said "Morehead":rotfl2: ).

HRH-do you have to get a package through Universal to get the front of the line deal, or just have to stay on site?:confused3
