I have to share some excitement with ya'll! I just reserved a five day stay for WDW the week after Thanksgiving!

I have to have you alls help though-with encouragement to SAVE SAVE SAVE!!! I am doing videos for Expo TV again and I am doing surveys on Myview for money so that I can use that money to pay for our trip and that it doesn't come out of DH's salary. Any other money making ideas I could do from home that would be easy to do with having a 3 yo at home with me? I have even started CVSing to save money on necessities.
Excellent!! I will tell you that I have gotten so that I keep asking myself "Can I do without it?" when I am looking at putting something in the cart. :goodvibes

The painter is beginning to cover all of our windows so she can spray the coats of primer and paint on the house. I am starting to feel like I am in one of those sci-fi movies....where they quarantine the house off from the neighborhood. :scared: And I am stuck in here with the teen version of the child who wouldn't take a nap!!! He keeps demanding something of a dessert nature! Getting...harder...to.....breathe.... :scared1:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry...I just had to get that out of my system....! :3dglasses

I'm so upset and frustrated with my son right now.:headache: I don't know what we are going to do with him. He has decided this week that he is no longer going to nap. Every day I read him a story, put him down and he says "I'm going to take a good nap today Mommy." Then 10 minutes later he's yelling at the top of his lungs for me. I go down and threaten him with assorted punishments and then 10 minutes later he's doing it again. I worked last night and slept 3 hours at the most when I got home, so I REALLY need a nap too. DD still takes a nap also and she can't sleep either when he's screaming and yelling. He has never been a good sleeper and very rarely sleeps through the night without DH or myself having to go down to appease him. I am so insanely tired of it after over three years. Maybe it seems worse this week since we got the kitty and he kept us up for a few nights too. I am trying not to cry I am just so tired and wondering where we went wrong with him. He also fights, hits, throws things and yells A LOT!:sad2: I feel like such a bad mommy. I hate punishing him all the time especially since DD ends up being punished as well. We got them one of those cheap water slides to put in the yard last weekend and we still haven't put it up because every day it's something else terrible he does. I told them this morning that I would take them to see WALL-E tomorrow or Monday IF they would let me take a nap today but I guess that's a no-go now. And I wanted to see it too.:sad1: What am I doing wrong? I really don't have any ideas right now. At this moment he's down there alternately screaming "Is it morning yet?" and "Turn my music back on!" And the worse part is alas, the rum is gone.:sad2:

Carly went through this when she was about your son's age. It normal for them to outgrow naps and there isn't really anything that can be done about it. The more you try to push the issue, the harder it will be on both of you.

I tried everything I could think of until I realized that it was really unfair to punish her for not sleeping when it was not something that she could control. So I let her read or play quietly in her bed from 12:00 to 1:30 every day. That way we both got the rest that we needed. She did that every day until she started kindergarten.

WOW! That is awesome news! :dance3: :yay: :cool1: :woohoo:

We have been to Disney the past few years at that time! The weather is nice and the crowds are not too bad!

Have you even been at that time of the year??

Yes, we went last year for the week after Thanksgiving. The weather is less humid and the crowds are great! Plus, the decorations are already up by then.

Good for you. I would love to go around that time. We have been at everytime of year except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What is Myview? I have never heard of it.
My View is like My Survery-they pay you for doing surveys (usually a dollar but sometimes more) and once you get $25 they transfer it to Paypal. I just started doing this so I haven't gotten any money transferred yet but I'm hoping it works like its supposed to!

Just yesterday I was looking at some free cufflinks (of course FREE!) but I had to pay shipping which was about $5.00 and I decided against them because I thought "DH doesn't REALLY need a $5 pair of cufflinks now does he?! What he needs is a Disney vacation!"

But I have just realized I booked for the week of Thanksgiving and not the week after so i have to call back tomorrow and change to the next week-now we will be there for DH's birthday!

Let everyone know, on all the reservations you make, that there is a birthday boy with you! That'll be fun!! :thumbsup2

Ugh- I was at the dentist this morning too! He had to put on my perm cap.

I already had the root canal a few weeks ago. However, my tooth still hurts when I bite down! It is not sensitive to hot or cold- and it does not throb anymore, like it did before the root canal- but it still hurts. The pain does not linger.

He is stumped! He took more xrays and said the roots look ok- no infection, before he did the root canal he took out the filling to be sure there was no crack in the tooth, and there was not- he said there could be a crack in the tooth that cannot be seen. He put the perm cap on and said to give it a few weeks

I am more POd that I already spent 2000.00 on the darn tooth and I certainly do not want to end up having it pulled and then have a implant put in and spend even MORE $$$!!:scared1:

I am disgusted........SICK! I TELL YA! SICK! :surfweb:
If you and the dentist figure out what the deal is with that tooth would you please share? My endo says I should not be having pain with that root canal that is 3/4 completed, too, and yet I am and he doesn't know why. They put me on antibiotics, which helped, but didn't take all the pain away. :confused3

Good mornin' all....although it is getting late by now. ;)

I want to share another email I got from a friend...this one really speaks to me! :rotfl: I know, I know...my friends are different. But we all keep life interesting for each other! ;)

THE ZEN OF SARCASM

1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead
of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just
pretty much leave me alone.

2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt
and leaky tire.

3. It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your
neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

4. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be
promoted.

5. Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.

6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of
car payments.

8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their
shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and
you have their shoes.

9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is probably not for you.

10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to
fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it
was probably a wise investment.

12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

13. Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.

14. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

15. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half
and put it back in your pocket.

16. A closed mouth gathers no foot.

17. Duct tape is like 'The Force.' It has a light side and a dark
side, and it holds the universe together.

18. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one
works.

19. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your
lips are moving.

20. Experience is something you don't get until just after you
need it.

21. Never miss a good chance to shut up.

22. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a
laxative on the same night.

Honestly- I have a feeling we may never know:guilty: He did say there is a ligament holding the tooth and that contains nerves too- it could be one of those and there can be no way of knowing.

But- for years now, a few dental hygienists told me I had a receding gum line above that tooth- I asked him and he said he did not see it. I know in the past, if I touched a spot above the tooth it was send me to the moon! (and I forgot to tell him that!:headache: )

I found it odd that he did not see anything- I am going to ask him about it in a few weeks if the pain does not subside, could that be causing the problem?

Maybe you can ask your dentist about it- if you will be seeing him soon.

He may say I am crazy! But it is worth a try!;)

John and Shaunna did that to me for my 40th a couple of years ago. It was fun.

Marna how is your day going today?

My Dr called and they are going to deal with me next Thursday morning. :cool1: But the bad thing is they can not knock me out. They are worried that it will be hard for me to bounce back and with my blood work still off they do not want to make things harder for me. So they will do thier best to make it as numb as they can so it not to hard on me.
They since I will not be knocked out if DH wants they will let him be in the room to read to me and keep my busy. So I have told them he will be in there.

Hmmm....interesting! I will ask the next time I go in. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Thanks. With DH at my side I can not lose. He is so good. Now I have to pick something out for him to read to me. Last time they let him do this he read to me until he could not handle it anymore. But my primary DR was there also so he took over for John to give him a chance to recoup.

I love the email you got. I sent to a bunch of people.

We seem to be missing some of our freaps.
Has anyone seen Alexwyattmom and Tink? Anyone else I missed.
I think we need to do a roll call
