I was so excited when I got the mail today. . .a full size bottle of simple pleasures dawn. .in my FAVORITE scent water lily. . .and it has the air freshener too-SWEET! And I think they may have just sent it because I sure don't remember signing up for it!

I got my Elf package today..I think I'm only missing the eyelash curler..I got my eyeliners, I must have asked for the colors no one wants... I still haven't seen any display of this product at either of my Targets..is that the store someone said Elf is at?

BTW....Target's Halloween crap is officially........GONE!!!! Thank God...

ETA..I only got one of two eyeliners..the black one is MIA.

I read that ELF is only at "select Targets." The one near me only has a few ELF items, like the cellphone charm lipglosses. My sister's Target, about 30 miles from me, has a lot of ELF stuff.

Im calling ELF this morning bsince they didnt left two things out of the 4 gift packs I bought (the clear mascara and joy hypershine-thats 8 in all- they were left out of all the packs). It wouldnt be a big deal but I dont want to be charged for the full amount of the gift pack. I realize they left off the eye liners and said they wouldnt charge-- but this stuff wasnt marked on the receipt as being left off. Hope no one else has this problem-- but you might want to re-check your gift packs..

The woman that answers customer service "tonya"-- shes not very nice at all! I dealt with her while ordering-- i dread this phone call im about to make..

ETA: I got a different girl- super nice-- said she would send them all out today. Yay!

Ok so remember back in june when my DH was hit by a car while cycling. On the cat scan they picked up on an anomalie in his thyroid. Fast forward to now and many tests and biopsies later and he is slated for surgery on December 7th (65% chance that it is cancer and with his history - prostectomy because of advanced prostate cancer at age 42 -they want to be sure).

So now we are like - Maybe it was a *GOOD* thing that you were hit by a car.

The catch is - we were supposed to go to Disney from Nov 28th to December 2nd with some very dear family friends. Now we aren't going because we will have so much to do with DH out of commission for almost 2 weeks, we have to get everything done before (and we won't be going home - Canada - for xmas either). DH told the kids yesterday (about Disney not the Surgery) and they took it well...

I mean if we turned ourselves inside out and upside down we probably could go (but I have health issues of my own and this could push me over the edge )

I've got to think up of something cute for that weekend for do for everyone (our DFs are still going I've been planning this trip since last April. I have all the disney clothes, trading pins, light up spinny things, pennies and quarters for penny pressing, ADRs, Ressies for BBB with a brand new dress for DD7. Tours for DS10, notes from tinkerbell, even the lime mickey heads and funky luggage tags. Luckly no one knows how much work went into it - I'm a little bummed out -

Any ideas of something cute that I could do to make me, ahhh the *KIDS* feel better? We won't be able to reschedule for quite some time...

DH will be OK - so I am really very grateful about how things are turning out

I am so sorry about the news from the tests and the having to cancel your trip. There will always be Disney! Take care of the what is most important, you and your family. My prayers are with you.
