Here are some of my concerns:

1. Hubby and I actualy have a reservation on Wednesday at Chef Mickey's at 7:30pm but I wasn't sure how much we'd really enjoy this. Do you think we'd like Boma better for breakfast? I have Boma listed above above.

2. Are there any restaurants that I listed that you guys think I should totally stay away from?

3. Are there any restaurants that I haven't listed that is a MUST DO with my husband? Any MUST DO with my nephew?

4. I'm not convinced on the GF Cafe the breakfast we go to Epcot.. but I wanted a breakfast that we could sit down and not have characters or a buffet...

THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!

I'm not sure if this will be a big help or not, but here goes...

1. DW and I have gone two or three times for breakfast. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for quiet, this is not the place to go. Lots of kids, and lots of noise. DW and I think it's fun, and we like to see the characters. We're both teachers, so it's fun for us to see kids having a blast as well. That being said, we're huge fans of the Boma breakfast. Lots of stuff you don't normally get to try, and it is all delicious. Plus, you get the added benefit of the ambiance of the AKL. You don't quite get that at CM's. If we had to choose only one, it would probably be Boma.

2. I think that all of your places look great. I haven't been to a few of them, but in all honesty, I've never really had a terrible experience at any Disney place. My biggest problem is branching out from what I like.

3. The biggest thing that I notice is that for being on the DXDP, you are only eating at one Signature place for dinner (Narcoossee's). If it were DW and I, we'd pay out of pocket for counter service lunches, and do a sit-down meal at nicer places. Restaurants like California Grill, Artists Point, Citricos, and Jiko are all fabulous, and since you are paying alot of money for meals, I think that you should get the biggest "bang for your buck." We've eaten at all the signature places, and they are all great. If we could only pick one or two, we'd go to Jiko and Artist Point.

4. If you don't mind getting over to the MK area for breakfast, I'd suggest Kona Cafe. They have the Tonga Toast, which is really good, and they also have, in my opinion, the best coffee on property. We always take time to go there, at least once, if not more. Its at the Polynesian, so you'd be going that way anyways to get to the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Hope all this helps. Have fun!

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I think I'm gonna take your advice on doing more signature dining. I never thought of it like that!

I hate to throw a monkey wrench in but I was wondering how you bought the Dining Plan...I understood that the Dining plan has to be bought for the full length of stay and for all parties? Or do you have 2 rooms booked?

I would think that your nephew would like going to O'hana's for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. It's not a buffet but a family style meal where they bring food to you and you can eat as much as you care to.

We didn't get to do this one last time but are looking forward to going in October.

I wondered this too.

Also, I would not do a GF Cafe breakfast on your Epcot day unless you are driving. It's a pain to get from BC to MK area taking Disney transportation. I would look at Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club (non buffet). It's a short walk from where you are staying and then you can walk from there into Epcot.

Boma is considered the best breakfast on property. If you are doing on your Animal Kingdom day, I would definitely not go to Chef Mickey's. You might also want to consider the Tusker House breakfast. Yes, it's a character meal but the Tusker Breakfast is excellent. It's our favorite (as 2 adults) and we would go, with or without characters.
